Besides Syracuse, what team(s) would/do you root for?

Air Force, because I have long believed that they have the best helmets, and because I have a lot of respect for the USAF due to my wife having grown up as an Air Force brat.

William & Mary...my daughter is a junior there and I love the campus and town. As a historian, it's a great place to have a child attend.

Any of the service academies. Always root for them unless they're playing SU. Always root for Boise too. They're usually fun to watch.

Teams I won't Root for: BC, Rutgers, Notre Dame, Penn St., USC (unless they are playing BC, Rutgers, or Notre Dame), Oregon, and generally the SEC sans Vanderbilt.

I was the very first brave soul in my extended family of 15+ (since my great grandad who went to ND) to not go to Texas A&M (one of my sisters followed suit... we'll see about cousins), so that's been burned into my mind. Of course, my freshman year was '05-06 so I caught a lot of flak for that horrible NCAA loss to them.

I always wanted to play baseball at U of Arizona, and have followed them somewhat.

Following Syracuse though, its #2. North Texas (second degree), #3. Texas A&M, #4. Arizona.

As for college, I just basically root for any ranked team to lose and I root against certain teams, like VaTech, Rutgers, UConn, ND, OhSt, USC, Fla, Bama, Miami, the usual suspects.

Michigan State's become my second favorite team as they're my best friend's team. Really like D'Antonio and they seem to run a really solid program. Plus, Le'Veon Bell is an absolute animal.
