Besides Syracuse, what team(s) would/do you root for?

1. Notre Dame sometimes (I have traditionally despised the Domers but I'll root for them selectively now because my daughter started grad school there last month)

2. Lafayette (I got to really enjoy attending Patriot League games while my daughter was in college there)

3. Franklin & Marshall (Starting to reacquaint myself with Division III ball now that the younger daughter started college there)

4. UMASS and Army (closest FBS teams to my home)

Boise St., Oregon (hard not to like watching them play), Navy

I only root for Cuse but I few teams I like: Army, Air Force, Oregon and UTSA.

Oh forgot I do root for underdogs to upset rivals and I root for boobs too.

Forgot Vanderbilt...best school in the SEC...my brother went there for his doctorate...he's gone now, but my sister-in-law, i.e. the most exquisitely beautiful woman in the south, still cheers for them every game...GO Commodores!!! Go Martha!!

In football? I can't really think of a single other team I actually care about. Maybe TCU, from living in the DFW area since 2005?

I've always had a soft spot for Wake Forest in basketball and football, as I considered going there for awhile.

I actually came to like Wake Forrest after going to the game and stadium in Winston Salem when they beat us about 7 or 8 years ago. Perry Patterson was running for his like. I have always really disliked Miami. I think it has something to do with them running up the score and abusing us at the end of P's tenure.

I have always hated Rutgers, Notre Dame, USC and Ohio State.

U of M(I paid a lot of money for my kid to go there); Long Beach State (a mile away and another kid); Boise State - they have been phenomenal for a really long time. And this year, TCU... I hope they kick a$$ in what's left of the Big 12.

My Alma Mater Iowa State. Other than that I don't really pull for anyone else specifically. The ol lady is a nurse at the university of Iowa hospital. Season ticket holder, die hard...so I watch some of their games. But I can stand the majority of The Iowa fan base to be honest.

Maryland - They are local school here in DC and are the poor relations of Duke, UNC and UVA. Plus I taught there as an adjunct for a number of years.

Auburn and Arkansas in the SEC. I have been to games in both locations. Fabulous fun.

Same for me with Wake hoops. I didn't apply there but did send them my SAT scores back in the day (mid 90's). Even if I got in I wouldn't have been able to afford it w/o some major scholarship/financial aid.

My Dad graduated from Iowa also. I should have included the Hawkeyes, although I rarely catch their games down here.
