and they have an excellent point because they have been represented in every title game EXCEPT 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20
I welcome and OSU or PSU players to transfer or walk on at CUSE
Oh btw...who said this? I can’t find this quote attributed to a specific person anywhere
He'd be playing at Georgie if the NCAA transfer rules were equally applied.
Actually, he would have sat out last year. So he'd be entering his first year of playing at Ohio State, vs being a Heisman favorite.
B1G and Ohio State got what they wanted with his instant eligibility. And now he's using that platform to become perhaps the biggest of all the thorns in their side. It's up to 160,000 signatures already.
As Jerry would say, that's a shame.
I meant he wouldn’t leave Georgia.
Ohio State is only team with chance and only team to ein a NC from B10 in 15 years. So the ACC/SEC/B12 definitely has merit. Most OSU fans I know fo ad.it this. They are very angry they opted out. At least at this time. I would have waited myself. The decision can be made in early to mid September. No reason do decide in mid August. The B10 and PAC12 rushed it.Why because of Ohio St?
They are the only program with a chance who won’t be playing.
2 SEC 1 B12 1 ACC is the usual model.
This is gonna carry through 2021. It’s far more dangerous to play a fall season after 10 spring games. I don’t think P12 or B1G schools will be scheduled honestly by the other 3 for their callous indifference to player safety.
Not sure what parents can do. They have no legal standing to force reversal. B10 really cannot flip flop now. Sure they can complain. That's it though. It appears that the parents of players at Iowa, Ohio State and Penn State are not happy with the lack of transparency in the Big 10’s cancellation process.
I assume more to come.
I would agree if the SEC sat out. Not the B10. Yes, they are a financial powerhouse. But outside the one title when Ohio State and Ezekiel Elliot ran wild on Bama, they have been torn apart in the national title setup. Pretenders. The national title is built around 4 or 5 contenders..2 points i feel equally strongly about
1- A title this year is SIGNIFICANTLY devalued
2- It's not the Big 10's place to say it so they should shut the heck up about it
Stuff like this why people say the media don’t want the games played.Iowa, Penn State, Ohio State, now Nebraska parents of players. And, of course, their highest profile player.
Will the Big 10 ever explain their reasoning? Or are they scrambling now to put together a viable story?
Stuff like this why people say the media don’t want the games played.
Where is the media coverage on this story?
If these letters were are about the players not feeling safe and not wanting to play the media coverage would be thru the roof.
Chit like this is why people can say the media are agenda driven.
Good. Still flyin' under the radar.Except that Florida St. has recently won a title and played for another. Miami could and will rise again if they can ever get the right coaching staff in place. NC is recruiting at a high level and could do some damage nationally in the next few years. Oh and Clemson is in the ACC and not going anywhere anytime soon.
Take away Ohio st and the big 10 hasn’t done jack. You have to go back to 97 the last time someone besides Ohio St accomplished anything in the big 10.

The media energy is different it’s a fact.
I don’t want college athletes playing for free this fall.
I also see how the media agendas cover a story that determines how big a story gets.
Again if these letters were from SEC or ACC students not wanting to play the reactions would be a lot louder on social media and on television.
Where did I say it’s a fact? How does one measure "media energy" and "loudness of social media"?
Since it's a FACT like you are suggesting...it should be easy to give me a specific number of some sort
Where did I say it’s a fact?
Pretty much everything I say is an opinion unless I post a link.
I don’t want to have to bring back my disclaimer for every post.
I stand by what I said The media is reacting differently.
Do not agree. Check out last 10 NFL drafts. Last season was not ACC's best, but prior they were consistently #2 to SEC in #1 draft picks and total draft picks. Big 10 has one title in last 15 years. ACC has 3. Obviously, if SEC pulled out the championship us degraded.Take away Clemson and the ACC is arguably not a power five conference. Would be very similar to the old Big East...
This was all very suspicious. All the delays. The foot dragging. The ultimate decision without checking all other P5's. I never bought the "health of our student athletes is our only priority". Yeah...we already heard that one before. This statement was as phony as the last conference that used that line. This was about liability. .In other words...Money. Lawyers. Lawsuits..Bilas is right. You need the minutes of the meetings. E-mails..texts. Depositions. I am sure the B10 will fight this. But eventually it will come out.
