So sad to read about David’s passing. His last post was right before the big Miami win when he informed us of his diagnosis.Happy that SU ended their season, including that Miami game, with huge wins for him. Thank you for informing us, he will be missed. Loving thoughts for you and your family.

Condolences to you and your family. God is gracious to those who call upon Him.
Some people think of their loved ones when they see a cardinal or a dragonfly.
Here we can think of our loved ones whenever we see an orange sunset!

I’ve realized within the past year with losses in my family and here that death is the worst part about getting older. Your husband was a meaningful contributor to our board here and we will miss him. We will be thinking of you and your family. Very sorry for your loss.

Hi - This is Mrs. BillOrange44, aka Mrs. David Stamps. My husband truly enjoyed this forum and every late summer I would see him following it more and more often in anticipation of the coming season. And then during the season he posted regularly because he loved to talk SU football by any possible means. I know he had several friends on this board and I want you to know that Dave passed away April 9, 2025. Nobody loved SU Football more than Bill. He was proud to have attended games for over 60 years, many as a season ticket holder. He was absolutely thrilled with last season's success and looked forward to an even better 2025 season. So I'll write this one more time for him, "GO ORANGE!"
I’m so sorry for your loss, ma’am. I’m sure as we speak SWC is welcoming him with open arms and they’re chatting about SU sports.
