I so appreciated his handle/name on this board as an homage to old time syracuse football that we all know and love. His contributions here were enormous and always a must read for us for die hard regulars.

Being up in the north country these days I so appreciated his level of fandom. He was a very important part of our little community here and will be missed. Best of luck and much strength to you and his loved ones as the days go forward.

Dave would call on me at my business to sell me ad space in the "Empire State Farmer". My business has very little to do with agriculture but it did give us an opportunity to discuss Syracuse football, a true passion for us both. It was money and time well spent. My deepest condolences.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your husband's posts. He always seemed to have a positive outlook on things when many of us did not.

Condolences to you, your family and everyone that your husband touched during his life, which I'm sure are many, many people, as clearly evidenced even on this board's response to his passing.

May he rest in peace.
