Bills 2024 Thread - Misery loves company

It’s cause he has no faith in this god awful receiving core . Mac hollins. Coleman ..samuel. They put fear into nobody except bills fans . The only guy we have that can play was out
That may be but that's the hand we've got. Maybe it's not good enough.
But defenses are clearly schooled on defending that scramble drill. Time to find another club in the bag; at least when you have a decent pocket to step up in.

The game stats tell you that we had no business winning this game.

In the abstract we shouldn’t be that upset about the loss. But when the other team is giving you the game and you refuse to accept it, that’s upsetting

Def get that perspective. I'm trying to just view this season as a transition year. I'm just looking for playoff spot and overall competitiveness.

If the Bills beat the Jets next week, they’ll have the inside track towards winning the division. The AFC East looked brutal at the beginning of the year but suddenly it’s not that scary at all.

But yes, the decision not to take knees and send it to OT is just inexcusable and Dino-esque.

The Texans had 3 TOs. They couldn't run the clock out at all

I've been watching football since I was 7. It was the worst coaching decision I've ever seen with the exception of the Seahawks passing at the one yard line when you have The Beast in your backfield.

They had timeouts did they not. ?
He didn’t slide or give himself up, he fell forward with no contact.

If they waited to touch him, two seconds would’ve run off the clock and regulation ends.

21 dumbassedly dove on him as he was falling to the turf to stop the play and give them an opportunity to take a TO.

And we refused the 10 second runoff that would have basically guaranteed us OT.

The play calling on that last offensive series was suspect. Once they got pinned, their only goal should’ve been trying to pick up a first down. Worst case scenario was a three and out giving them the ball back at midfield and it’s exactly what we did.

Right, I don't really have a problem with throwing. But that's when you need Kincaid to get you 6yds, hopefully more if he shakes a guy. The long developing low % bomb to Mac Hollins, gmafb that's a lotto ticket.

But it was the penalty or runoff right? Penalty took them out of FG range. They also had an elite punt of course…

No. It’s a penalty and runoff unless the defense refuses the runoff or Houston chooses a TO . The objective is to replicate the situation had he been sacked

How often have you heard the following:

We need to get Kincaid more involved
We need to get kinkaid some down field shots

Am I missing something? Do they have to petition the league to get permission to do this? Just freaking do it if you want to ! Nobody is stopping you but you !

I watched at my in laws with my nieces while my brother in law went to a funeral. We all went crazy watching Coleman run the slowest long td ever.

Brother in law gets back at seven or so, the highlights are on and he has a crazy outburst telling how slow is Coleman as they were showing the same play, it was very funny to see the exact same reaction

Beane is terrible with wr

Samuel Hollins valdes scantling harty Sherfield Crowder sanders

Every free agent sucks balls

I don't see how the WR room gets better as the season goes on.

Shakir comes back, sure. But that doesn't help with Coleman getting zero separation or getting clocked in the head by a perfectly thrown ball.

Or MVS dropping a ball because he's too weak to catch. Or Kincaid being a first rounder that is a 45% snap guy.

It's incredible how terrible this team is at getting WR's. They've had 100 chances.

McDermott is such an unbelievable idiot
It's hard to believe you can make that many mistakes in one minute
One minute!? Look at how many he can make in 17 seconds!

Too soon? I really think 17 seconds was the peak for this incarnation of the Bills. They haven’t had enough elite talent on D ever…. Now they don’t have enough elite talent on O either. It’s literally Josh and not much else.

Who ever heard of drafting a guy early in round 2 whose calling card is catching jump balls cause he can’t get open against ACC Dbacks? The “contested ball catching receiver” is valuable because it assumes they also catch uncontested ones

And those idiots want to turn Josh into Tua putting him back out there after he slept on the field

Allen needs to force the issue and tell pegula to "choose him or me"

First thing they ever did was bring in a fat slob wr from Carolina. And then they choose Peterman to throw to him.

Let’s be honest, the play where Coleman got clocked in the head was gonna be a whole lot of nothing anyways. It was thrown like two yards past the line of scrimmage with a defender literally right there. I don’t get piling on literally the only guy on offense that actually made a play today.

It's like he doesn't know the score then and now
When things speed up towards the end of close games he cannot think straight. Think of the number of close losses the last few years. We’ve lost almost every close game that comes down to a few plays at the end. Poor coaching decisions is the preponderance of fault . Last year in the playoffs vs chiefs .. that drive where we needed to run and get the clock moving so we could score and leave no time left ? Butchered.

I don’t have an issue with him. I have an issue with the wizards who thought THAT skill set is what we need

Whoever these post game guys are on the bills radio are hilariously stupid ., some bull dog guy and another fat sounding guy
They're both great guys in real life
