Bills 2024 Thread - Misery loves company

If you’re going to throw, do something that actually has a shot
Yeah, if Josh had thrown to Coleman or Kincaid on that Hollins deep shot play instead, we probably end up moving the chains and at least live to see OT. For whatever reason, Hollins was the guy he targeted instead. Just a really frustrating game (and last week was too). Receivers continue to struggle to get open and struggle to catch the ball and then in this week's game, Allen struggled with ball placement when they did finally get open.

Yeah, I think trading up for Thomas was the play. After him, I had Coleman as the next best option anyways. McConkey has been really good for the Chargers so far but I think there's a lot of overlap between him and Shakir so not surprised we went with Coleman instead.

Yeah I don't think McConkey would've been a good fit either. And his numbers are basically equal to Coleman, just with more targets and receptions. Same yards and same number of TD's.

Thomas is a stud

Hollins leads all bills receivers in snaps. That was also true prior to shakir being out. They love this guy. Great blocker. He can block with the best. He can receive with the rest

Ju Ju Smith Rooster. released by Pats. picked up off the scrap heap by the Chiefs. better than Samuel for sure who cost actual money.

Amari cooper will be far more affordable than Adams and can probably give us what we need . Adams contract is truly awful

For context's sake, I'd be interested to know how many of the opponents in that situation had all three timeouts left, because that does change the equation a bit. The bigger issue wasn't that we passed the ball three times, but where those passes went.
You run the ball because it is your best chance at getting the first down that day. When shouldn't have even been out there, the wr can't get open

It burns clock

And it forces then to take time outs

Three downs, three timeouts

Everything says to run unless you're in idiotic hail Mary mode

Once again it's like the guy doesn't know the score of the game, just like 0:13

Yeah there's no way we are taking on a 30+ year old WR with a $45M cap hit each of the next two years.

The analytics are a blunt instrument that require fine tuning with information pertaining to what is actually going on in that particular game at that particular time. Allen was 9-27 going into that drive. Cook was averaging 4.0 yards a rush. The correct decision was clear.

AND they want a 2nd round pick ? I’d argue the raiders should be the one kicking in a pick

I'm assuming we lose now vs the Jets due to their transient dead cat bounce after firing their coach.

I'm not assuming a loss quite yet, but I'm not thrilled with the timing either.

Somewhat worrisome seeing what other teams have done to defenses we’ve had trouble with . We might be an even worse offense than we thought .

The offense definitely has more issues then we anticipated. Drake Maye looking like MOntana at times vs the Texans is a bad sign.

Well teh defense tried to give up six on the initial drive, luckily the Jets became the Jets and had to settle for a FG. I know he's a great story but Hamlin is a major liability at Safety. Gotta go with someone else there.

He’s just running around without a clue

Rodgers is 60, get some pressure. Also Samuel... I liked that get but man, looking like a big miss.

Joe Brady’s obsession with Curtis Samuel is vomit inducing.

it’s beyond predictable every time he's on the field.

Great drive for six from the shadow of our own end zone. But Bass, woof, absolute adventure each week that will ultimately cost us a game at some point…
