Coaching difference between these 2 teams is monumental. Really need to move on McDermott while Allen is still in his prime. Really good coach but he's never getting past KC.

Ya know, I was never super confident about this game and once Benford got hurt, I instantly thought for sure we'd lose.

Still so incredibly infuriated with the officiating. Nobody will ever be able to explain how what Worthy did was considered a catch. I don't even think it was possible for him to catch the ball if you believe physics are a thing. And the turnover on downs was just garbage too; not as garbage as the Worthy call but certainly more impactful and still wrong.

Just feels like despite all our mistakes, we should be going to the Super Bowl right now but the league is just obsessed with the Chiefs. I'm sure I'll calm down over night but the stuff they get away with every single game is so outrageous. I don't know how anyone can enjoy a Chiefs game if you enjoy football.

Reid is a HOF coach but come on. The outcoached thing is so over used it’s ridiculous. That game was won and lost by the players and nothing else. A tight end handles a very catchable ball and that game very likely goes the other way.

It's really tough. I admit like McDermott a lot but the defensive performances in the playoffs are frustrating

BUT

They once again lose guys on defense before playing KC and it makes it a lot tougher.

AFC is likely to be tougher next year so theres a decent chance that may happen if they don’t even reach this round.

When Reid calls 4 straight lef sided tush pushes that all get stuffed let me know. Also Spags again got us when he had to. We barely blitzed and when we did got nowhere near Mahomes he of course gets a guy on a free run the biggest play of the game. Don't even get me started on the 2 pt plays

Pete Carroll was the last defensive head coach to win a SB without a QB named Tom Brady (Feb 2014).

Josh is a fantastic generational talent but he needs quality offensive play calling/game plans like every other SB winning QB over the last decade had.

Honestly it’s crazy Beane doesn’t catch more flak. Von Miller? Didn’t hear his name once tonight, or really from anyone else on the line outside Phillips huge sack. Kincaid drops a ball he has to have. Elam is a disaster. Bishop, a third rounder, isn’t exactly a difference maker. I don’t understand Knox’s utilization at $8m a year, and he has had problems with drops. Defense can’t stop anyone. It goes on and on.

Obviously we’ll all cool off tomorrow but how long are we going to waste Allen’s prime?

Two different teams, different sports, different levels of competition, different quality of teams, but SU basketball and Bills fans sound remarkably similar with similar complaints and solutions.

They’d tried it 4 or 5 other times and were stopped multiple times. It was meatheaded stubbornness. They haven’t mastered it like the Eagles.

So mahommes only got them a FG and left them vulnerable to a loss. Only because the defense bailed him out did he have a chance to close it out. But the talking heads will never bring up the fact he left the door wide open

Of course it's Allen but KC clearly had Allen sneak to the left dialed in, why in the world would you keep calling it? How about Allen on a power run or RPO or a jet sweep or how about a fake qb run pop pass. You've got a Gezelle at QB, put him out on a boot or something

More importantly… who are they going to get that can beat Reid and Spags. The answer as of now is no one. The answer is get better talent… rebuild the secondary and get some receivers. Start with Kupp and go from there. Bills have a ton of cap room this year right? This season was supposed to be a rebuild.

Honestly, the level of play he got out of the defense this year considering the personnel was unbelievable to me. Top 10 I believe in DVOA with a legitimately bad secondary and our best LBs being in and out of the lineup all year. Not to mention the dead cap and the insane Von Miller contract (granted he was productive this season but in a part-time role).

I think the coaching staff (special teams excluded) did an absolutely fantastic job overall this year and think they were mostly fine tonight. They were not literally perfect but hard to ask for much more from them IMO.

I don't know that we'll ever win a Super Bowl with him, but I don't think it's because he's holding us back. It's just really hard to win a Super Bowl. I wouldn't blame them if they ultimately move on and just hope a new coach gets lucky or whatever but I think he's one of the top 5-10 coaches in the league and he's continued to get better every year (with the exception of challenges, which even after hiring a ref to advise him he still seemingly never wins lol).

This game was decided on a referee’s 4th down spot which I thought he picked up for sure. They also made it 3 or 4 time including a touchdown. Again, if you have a yard or less to go you have Josh Allen ram it in there….don’t care if they had just stopped it or not. So easy to blame coaching every time.
