I've heard good things about Mad Moose BBQ but never been. Any locals have some insight? I heard good craft beer selection and nice atmosphere.

I've never eaten there, but enjoyed the beer and atmosphere.

The only place I ever found worthwhile for the post-college crowd down in the state street area was Dillingers. Not sure what that place is like these days.

Google "beating at Dillingers" and decide for yourself.

Heard good things too. There's also Burger Mondays and Water Street Brewing Company. Have only been to Burger Monday's so far, it's across the street from Mad Moose. Amici's near the Mets stadium is good.

I always go French onion soup, buffalo tenders dinner and regular tenders appetizer to go. Half price appetizers start at...9?

Could be, havent been up since Clemson weekend. By 9 were home drinking whatever we got from Sams. Without fail, whatever Im interested in on tap, Tullys is out of. One time they were out of my top 3 choices.

Hmm, couldn't find anything about a beating there but did see a story about one of the owners allegedly calling a black college student the N word.

New place just opened in Johnson City across from Oakdale Mall. Food & Fire - barbecue and craft beer - 40 plus on tap. And at least 8 big screens. I'll check it out with my Fantasy FB league Monday night and report. Think their website is up now if you Google them.
