I saw it last weekend, a terrific movie, Depp is incredible in the role of Whitey Bulger, I would highly recommend it.

I haven't seen 71. I think if you know the story going in you kind of know what is going to happen, and I watched a couple of documentaries on Bulger in the past, but I still thought it was a really good movie.

Yes. Definitley well made and acted, but as you say when you know the story...
