I guess you're suggesting that he dropped back, hoping to pass, more often than that. I would agree.

But that means that any other time he dropped back, he was forced from the pocket and either ran or got sacked.

When that happens, that's not good blocking by the offensive line.

That's how you measure not having good protection, when you only have time to actually get off 6 passes in 30 minutes.

It seperates each Oline position. None of our guys are currently grading great- but they've been fairly effective. I think only Berg is in the top 100. (Out of 561)

Our other guys fall just below the middle, in their position.

Nunbers will change as minimum snaps increase. At that point, it will be a more accurate depiction of how they compare.

The way I look at it is if 32 NFL teams subscribe to the service, who am I to say my eyes and evaluation is better.

Without sharing the exact number, I kind of addressed it in the OP. Vett and Berg were both at the low end of average while the others were below average. Overall as a team we were below average.

Do you know anything about football? He dropped back multiple times, had time to look around, and after a certain amount of time where you can’t find anybody to throw to, you have to either
1. Tuck the ball and run
2. Escape the pocket and throw it away or
3. Scramble around continuing to look downfield for somebody to break free.
Garrett does number 1.

While I agree that it's difficult to grade offensive line play, I think the PFF system (at least what I read about it ...) makes it pretty clear. You have to win your assignment vs. the guy opposite you.

yeah. but thats not always the pt of every block you make.. we dont really know assignments and what if i block the man who comes at me but thats not the guy im supposed to be blocking.. or if you are supposed to hit and move off a block and i dont release. things we cant tell.

int the NFL you can get all 24 looks and anyone who wants to pay can get it.. way less games.

Where is PPF getting it for all these college games to review it so fast unless a team provides it . Otherwise they are guessing off tv film.
