Boston U Gameday...

but it shouldn't because it's no different than a hit. normally i'm trying to interpret why something was called on any boards. if it was from anything but the front, they had it right.
different ref maybe won't call that. tho obviously, at least one will. me, great play by the ssdm to show he's up for the d when challenged. maybe next time he won't toss him around like a ragdoll, ha.
I’m a ref. I instinctively reached for my flag even though I’m sitting in my recliner as soon as I saw it. That’s no exaggeration. I literally put my hand to my hip where my flag would be. It’s a hold every time. It’s different from a hit. You can’t use your stick like that to pull someone to the ground.

It’s going to take a few games for the offense to find its stride..Clearly not clicking the way they should based on new faces in bigger roles.
The offense has mostly been bad 1v1s with no off-ball movement.

but he didn't pull him. understood you can't pull to the ground. or to anywhere, really. the angle of it all (including the stick being in his right hand and not left hand), it was a push, from the front. after equal pressure to stop his initial move before he rolled back.

He threw him to the ground with his stick. That goes way beyond equal pressure
