Bot Confirmation Webpage

After about 5 minutes or so perusing the board, the webpage (usually in a thread) switches to a page that asks if I'm a bot. It's a full webpage, not a box. The first time I clicked on the background of the webpage and the page switched to another page (don't recall what it said). The last three times I've clicked on the back arrow and was taken back to the thread I was reading. This page does not show on when right clicking the back button, so i think it's a phishing attempt or other site-specific virus. This does not happen on any other sites I visit. Anyone else experiencing this?

It happens from time to time. Nothing I can do about it without the forwarding url.

I frequently get taken out of the forum to a page asking me to click on "I am Not a Robot" and then on allow.

I generally dont like to click on these sort of things. Is this legit ?

I will let temery answer definitively, but I have never received this. I wouldn't click on it.

I am also getting the bot. Same way. It's annoying. This is the only website I have that issue.

Try the AOnly style. Change browsers. Clear your cache. Reset the ip on your computer (reboot often does this).

If you know which ad is the problem, right click on the ad and send me the url.

This has been a problem for 25 years, and affects a few people from time to time.

I'm not trying to push donations, but 8 cents a day is the only sure fire solution. Outside of this, it'll go away in a day or two.
