Bowling Green vs Toledo tonight at 6 pm on ESPN 2

bg throws all day but their running backs are pretty productive. BGs yards per rush get brought down by all the sacks i bet, not sure though

they average 4.26. we're better. but dont' get me wrong, i'm not advocating a run based offense. i'm advocating a coach who plays both sides of the ball.

I think in babers we’d just lose track meets and at the end of the day, losing is losing.

(BG put up 368 yrds last night at home)

i was just pointing out that college rushing stats get screwy because of plays that aren't runs being called runs. when they hand the ball to a RB they're decent. so are we.

it's part of the reason we look so run heavy, in lester's defense

bowling green is 20th in rushing TDs, higher than toledo believe it or not (we're 93rd). not that that's the end all be all, just something interesting

by the way, toledo's defensive performance is amazing. the next worst offensive game for bowling green was 505

they have 2 games in the 600s, one in the 700 hundreds, all the rest in the 500s

a lot of AD are going to be drooling over campbell based on that. some big 12 school might pay him big bucks for stopping a baylor offense

I think I would be happy with either of these coaches and I think both would be obtainable if that is the direction the University chooses.

Crusty said:
Babers is my #1. Campbell would a my #2, but a long drop between them because of the Briles lineage.
what about briles son their oc? Bet he can recruit

I think we might have had a chat room for this game too.

Yes, I know there was. I just remember the ash news almost ruing everything for a few hours. Glad the university at least has the blueprint now for what would be a successful HC at Syracuse.

So funny people debating Campbell and Dino...both great coaches.

No losers in that race.

Millhouse with a good call that some Big 12 team will want to grab Campbell.

Sometimes I cringe at some of these bumps thinking "oh God what did I say and what time of day did I post, hopefully not after midnight because it's one of my Gremlin rules". But luckily I stayed out of this one, and everyone seemed to nail it.

Thanks. As u say many others jumped on the Dino train. OttoinGrotto was the conductor!
I can't remember who the first was to bring up Dino, but I know it wasn't me.

I just put all chips in really, really quickly.

Couldn't believe it when it actually happened.

Sad thing about Ash, is that he was a pretty hot name who Urban thought would be the next great coach...oops.

Although I’m not entirely sure anyone who decides to take that RU job is doomed at this point.

Weather played a big part in that game. 20 mph sustained winds with gusts over 30 and a constant drizzle. I was gonna go to that game with a group of friends and family, but everyone backed out because of the weather.
