Bracket Show

And a look back at some very surprising omissions in prior year. In fact each of the last 3 years there has been a team at 90% expectation rate missing. The last 2 years it seems the committee has actually been friendlier in the last spot to mid-majors. That was not the trend pre-2016.

2021 - Louisville 92% (replaced by Wichita St)
2019 - TCU 93% (replaced by Belmont)
2018 - USC 93% (replaced by Syracuse, who was only at 12%!!)
2016 - St. Bonaventure 86%
2015 - Colorado St 91%
2015 - Temple 90%

Some surprising teams to make it
2018 - Syracuse at 12%
2016 - Tulsa at 1% (1 person out of 186 had them in)
2015 - UCLA at 10%

You’re a beast

Surprised they put Duke in Gonzaga's region.

North Texas and VCU are two way more deserving teams than Rutgers and ND.

I never realized

1. How many teams with those high odds get screwed every year
2. How unlikely it was we made it in 2018. I remember it wasn't great, but I thought we had like a 40% chance to get in

Didn’t Duke request the Midwest region, since it’s closer to Coach K’s home? Not a great week for K during his farewell.

Everyone here needs to relax they have released the west yet! We always do better out of the west...ok wait its back on now!

Davidson is going to beat MSU and Id be shoooocked if Dook gets past them and Texas Tech.
