Bracketology with Joe Lunardi

Jerry Palm blows Lunardi away its not even funny. Palm does everything by current resumes unlike Lunardi who uses current rankings rather than resumes.

Here is Palm's current bracketology.

Palm Bracketology

He has SU #1 East Buffalo/MSG #8-9 Texas-Arkansas #4 Iowa State #2 Villanova

He rightfully has Wisconsin as a 1 seed and Duke as a current 6 seed.

Neutral court wins over St. John's St. Louis, West Virginia
road wins over UW-Green Bay, Virginia
home wins over Florida, Marquette.

Find me a better resume than that thus far?

I don't like Wisconsin and find Bo Ryan's playing style boring, but this season they look like the real deal only problem I see for them is lack of depth, but they only play Michigan State and Ohio State 1 time during conference play and both are at home. I thin Wisconsin ends up winning the B1G regular season title because of their easier conference schedule.

im looking at 1 good team (fla) and 2 or 3 decent teams (st johns, uva, marquette).

thats not really anything to say its BY FAR the best resume.

Please tell me another team that has 5 good wins away from home and 2 home win against Elite 8 teams from last year that were picked preseason #1 in the Big East and #2 in the SEC?

If its not Wisconsin who has a better resume? I think Syracuse would be in the discussion, but I am giving Wisconsin their current props.

Palm's bracket sets up a potential mini BET in the MSG regional . . . SU vs. 5 seed Louisville, then 2 seed Nova.

we'll know more after 12/28, but to me that looks like a tough, tough regional.

i never said wisconsin didnt have a great resume or even the best resume. All i questioned was if it was BY FAR the best resume.

There are 13 undefeated teams. They can only play who they can play.

Marquette isnt that good right now. i dont really care what the preseason polls said. and giving them a wvu and uwgreen bay as good wins are very questionable too.

cuse is certainly in the running for best resume... but its a pointless stat to use right now.

That is true, but it doesn't mean they all have equal resumes or anything like that.

Maybe by far is a stretch, but they've beaten 5 teams in the Ken Pom top 60 (Selective endpoint alert), plus #61 WVU.

Did Palm have SU out in 2007? If he did he was one of the few.
