Bryans are the new market inefficiency.
Agree to all the above ^^^Seems like a good hire to me.
I think I would have preferred Carp due to his industry connections and positioning us for realignment down the line, was seemingly a bigger "heavy hitter" in the industry. But hey if we win and have great NIL, this seems like it would be great and conference realignment would sort itself out
Average age would be 44!!Mike Haynie: 56
Fran Brown: 44
Bryan Blair: 40
Bryan Hodgson: 38
We’re heading in the right direction
Uh yeah…
But at the rate we are going anyone see the Toledo BB coach in Cuse today??
First 2 hires seems to be Home Runs, that's a good start to the offseason.Once this is confirmed, hat tip to the selection committee. Appears the process was thorough and they didn’t take any of the easy ways out.
Listened to one of his interviews. He clearly understands the future landscape of college sports. Not a concern.I'm concerned with whether he has the stature to help us through future realignment. Not strong experience in P4.
That’s why getting younger is so key. People are concerned about experience and it’s important but the landscape is so drastically different that 20 years on the job isn’t all thatListened to one of his interviews. He clearly understands the future landscape of college sports. Not a concern.

Does the Dino do Carolina style BBQ? Can they start?
Take a look at our world at some of the people who have accomoplished so much by the time they were 40. Without getting political look at those who have or are serving in government/negotiating positions. Corportate world has plenty of whizzes in their 30s and early 40s. Age is nothing but a number.Yep and I’m good with it. Age doesnt always mean better or more experience. Give me some youth and enthusiasm.
Yes. He is asked a question about the changing world in athletics and how he has dealt with it, and his answer is that is the only world he has known and dealt with. How refreshing that he gets it.That’s why getting younger is so key. He's too old. Born in 1966.Uh yeah…

Clearly that's the standard to measure ADs, the powerhouse sports of soccer and softball. From what I could find, it looks like he made two coaching hires. Softball and Women’s Soccer. Here are their records (inc. softball so far this year).
Women’s Soccer
19-34-19
Softball
69-94
Let’s hope we don’t get a curveball for basketball.
Anyone know how BH fared in his interview? So insider info can change. If you bomb the interview, you bomb the interview. Another guy delivers in the interview like this guy.
