No kidding. They are entirely dependent upon those two. Their frontcourt is awful.

Some interesting younger components in the pipeline, but it isn't difficult envisioning them taking a nosedive once a few key players depart. They clearly aren't recruiting well enough to sustain their relative mediocrity.

I gave them 5 years to descend to umass level; it might not even take that long.

Things are about to get worse for uconn, too. Up until this point, their delusional fanbase was able to cling to the hope that they'd be able to continue recruiting at a high clip, which would stave off their inevitable decline.

Here's the rub: up until this point [i.e., this past week], pretty much everyone associated their program with the Big East. Even though they were left out of major conference expansion, there was still an attribution of them "belonging" due to their history in the Big East. Up until this point, recruits viewed uconn through the lens of the past, and envisioned themselves playing against the likes of us, Georgetown, Louisville, Villanova, etc.

Now that they are finally playing AAC conference ball, that perception is about to be irrevocably shattered. Wouldn't remotely surprise me to see their recruiting taper off precipitously.

Yup. Harvard is 13-1 with their only loss coming to Colorado , 62-70. Colorado meanwhile just beat previous unbeaten and 10th ranked Oregon, 100-91.

Those were a couple of brutal losses. Just goes to show that the AAC isn't as far off the bottom of the old BE as people think. SMU might actually be good. Larry Brown is a coaching genius.

I'm not too worried because this team is not built to grind out games when its not sharp. We can lose to almost anyone decent.

On the flip side, when we are hitting from outside, we can beat almost anyone. Reminds me a bit of the old Bee Line WVU teams of a few years ago.

I have been watching SDSU pretty closely. They are moving from being a good mid major team to just flat out being a good program. They were "supposed" to be a big down a bit this year, but just knocked off KU in Kansas. That's big boy basketball.

The ACC has 4 wins and a BCS win. Plus a good chance for another, the national title game. That is a monster bowl season. Syracuse will rake in about 3 million from the ACC bowl split.
