If Buddy makes the NBA he won’t be the #1 priority for defenses. He will be the last in defensive rotations in the NBA which will give him open jumpers.

That was a decade ago.
I hope Buddy improves his game this year. It will mean we are better but the fact is watching him play here thru 3 years I don’t see an NBA player.

I see a kid who can get hot and when he gets hot is scrotching and can single handily win games but isn’t consistent and can be shut down.

Matthew Hurt is a better player and he didn’t get drafted.

It was also a decade ago, things have changed quite a bit since then. I’m not saying Buddy is better than Andy but with the change in the game and the opportunity on a worse team than Andy was on I think gives Buddy more of an opportunity.

Nobody is saying Buddy is going to kill it in the nba. Last I knew Guy was in the nba. Not bad for a 6’1” shooting guard.

I would be very surprised if Buddy plays in the NBA. And there is no bigger fan of Buddy on this board than me. He is an elite shooter. I suspect he will have a really great year this year. But in the NBA, contrary to what people think, you have to be able to guard people. I don't see it with Buddy. Buddy will make a lot of money playing overseas. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Armani Brooks, Daniuel House , and Anthony Lamb are all similar .. 6’6 ish guys who can’t do anything but shoot .

I watch every rockets game .. even last year when they were complete stench . He does nothing well but shoot.. and he didn’t even do that last year. And he’s a major player on the team. I’m not ever expecting Buddy to be that guy. More like the other two

Anthony Lamb and Buddy Boeheim aren't close to being the same player. Lamb can take the ball to the rim far better than Buddy, and he can bully any 6'6" guy guarding him. He's much closer to a forward than a 2 guard.
