Buffalo Bills 2019

Saw a stat about how other QBs, including Goff, Garroppolo and Watson, have looked against the Ravens Defense as of late.

Hint: It ain’t good...

I think the 3 early missed deep balls just made the rest of the game look much worse than it was for him.

That Ravens team is an absolute monster. Elite defense and an elite offense, yet we had multiple chances inside their 20 to tie it at the end.

Also factor in an egregious missed 50 yard PI that became a pivotal moment in the game. Nevermind the missed 12 men in the huddle that allowed Lamar Jackson’s little flip pass to be a TD throw.

I feel much better today than I did after the game.

Let’s smack around Duck Hodges and hope for Dalton to further cement is legend status in Buffalo.

had they just called the lineman down field penalty the TD might not happen and that was as obvious as it gets.. though they seemed to see it fine when the Bills had a big pass play

so basically they need an overhaul on offense.

I don't think so at all, the need a 2nd RB to complement Singletary, a big physical WR and sure maybe another OL but the line has been pretty decent until last Sunday but it happens. People need to quit going to extremes with Josh Allen as well. right now he has been pretty good and showing good progress and had his ups and downs. Really bad game Sunday but had pressure on him all game. if you don't think Josh will put countless hours in over the off season working on his short comings then you probably haven't been following his progress. But the nonsense of one week he is a TE the next he is the franchise Qb for 15 years is crazy.

Get one more win and make the playoffs. Still ahead of schedule if they make playoffs this year. They could win the 1st round as well.

You look at some mock drafts and Buffalos expected spot around 23 and you see some really good OTs, the FSU DT, the Wisc Rb, a couple solid WR

some have them taking Taylor,, others have them taking Dillon in rd 6 which i think would be a great get at that spot

Heaven help me if we take a RB in the first round with top end WRs and RT’s on the board.

For now, having Duke in the red zone would be nice.

I think the problem with Duke is it comes down to him and Foster and I believe Foster plays on specials where Duke does not and Mckinzie and or Foster backs up punt and kick returns.

At this point, i'd activate Duke over McKenzie. Situationally, we could potentially use Duke in more places than McKenzie. Foster can run jet sweeps if we ever decide to do them again and Hyde can be back up punt/kick returner.

especially a wisconsin back...lets count the number of bust wisconsin backs.

No need to choose one over the other. I think we'd be better off just deactivating Roberts personally. At least McKenzie and Duke can both theoretically make a play offensively.

Roberts has not been as impactful as I had hoped on special teams. At least he handles the ball with ease there tho.

I agree that Duke would be an upgrade on offense over Roberts though.

He's honestly been pretty good returning kicks; it just isn't worth very much. Per Football Outsiders, Buffalo has the 5th best kick return game in the league; that's awesome, but it's only worth 4.7 points above the league average over 13 games so far this season. Add in the punt return game which is like 0.1 points above the league average and we're talking about 0.36 points per game above the league average. Or if you'd like to compare us to the worst team in the league (Dallas), we're talking about a difference of 0.93 points per game.

Using a roster spot on a guy that's purely a kick returner is basically worth as much as using a roster spot on a kickoff specialist, which we already lived through with Rex.

I'm not really sure if Duke is good enough to care all that much in this case, but I think it's at least conceivable that his ability to make contested catches would be worth more than 0.93 points per game.

It's nice having a QB who doesn't have to wind up his entire body to throw a 15 yard out.

Houston beating Tenn is a big help to the Bills. We really need to win today but that certainly helps.

Two people we desperately need to show up tonight : Josh Allen and Bojo. Gotta figure points and field position will be at a premium. No dumb turnovers or 27 yard punts please. Win and we're in- LFG Buffalo!
