Buffalo Bills 2019

Thank god the bills won. Would not have been able to handle it after su, the yanks, and my fantasy team scoring an all time low for me this week while my bench players double my score.

Ugh.

Thank you buffalo.

Massive turnovers.

Indeed. I was not surprised Bills mafia melting down in the 1st half for not dominating before winning semi-comfortably. I was very surprised that we needed to be on the plus side of those turnovers to win the freaking game. Geez. Not a great look.

Thought the fake FG was as obvious/dumb as Clemson's punt in the Dome a couple years ago. Was really annoyed that crap worked (seriously how do you not just go for it there?). Tre' White is up there for favorite players this century.

We either need a guy who he can't out throw or Allen needs to have se x and throw 100 deep balls on game mornings. Not necessarily at the same time.

Even the gimme Beasley TD was difficult. I don't know man, a lot of Bills fans to me sound like Bears fans right now, or Jet fans circa 2010 when talking about their qb.
I would take that playoff W in Foxboro though.

5-1 and a lot to work on. Better that than 1-5. I am wondering whether this is the ceiling for this team or if we will see it this year? Hope it is the latter. Go Bills!

P.S.- figure something out PLEASE about the 4-5 procedure or false starts we get hit with a game...k great thanks

Pretty disappointed with the performance today, Tre White aside.

Run defense was pretty porous, and Levi Wallace and Maurice Alexander were abused. I knew that we'd miss Milano, but I didn't think we'd miss him this much. Pass rush was anemic, to say the least.

Offense - Allen misfired on a throw to a wide open Roberts, and missed a few open receivers, for what should have been easy gains. Knox had a bad drop, too - this is becoming a trend, unfortunately. Hated, hated, hated the play calling too.

Honestly, Tre White pretty much won this game on his own.

Well, I didn't read through the game comments, but pretty much all of what I posted had already been stated.

The penalties are beyond frustrating too. Poor discipline.

The lack of pass rush is extremely concerning, the run d has been better this year but it felt like last year today. The DTs were non existent. Milano is a huge piece that we need back asap. Not sure what the answer is for the pass rush issue barring a trade or next years draft. I look Frazier but he has to blitz in some of these 3rd and obvious passing downs.

Josh threw some beautiful balls with great touch today but the long ball still seems to be an issue. Sometimes you just gotta get those even if there just a bit short. Guy had 5 -6 yards on the DB and if even a bit under thrown that would have been a complete pass or a interference call. That wasn’t even close, he threw the long ball better last year. But like I I said he threw some great touch passes today. Thought he played well but didn’t have a ton of possessions

Just really loft a deep ball and let Duke get it.

It’s remarkable that he consistently over throws deep throws.

I’ve never seen a quarterback do it literally every time. And most aren’t even close. Like not even diving would get to the ball.

He's 0-10 on balls over 30 yards this year and hasn't been close, What is weird is last year he threw it better down the field but like I said he had some great intermediate throws with great touch and accuracy. The pass to Duke was great. Hope Duke is OK?

Weird that the Bills sat Foster yesterday when healthy

He was still bad at it last year, but yeah, he was definitely better than 0% with almost none of them being remotely close.

His deep balls this year have legitimately looked like he's just throwing the ball away and making sure it was in the general vicinity of a receiver so that he wouldn't be penalized lol

Agreed, he has made great strides with the touch throws but he really needs to continue to try and get better with these deep balls as I am sure this shortcoming is no secret to the opposition.

I think there was a tweet recently that he's only completed one pass over 30 yards in his two seasons.

That's definitely not true. Robert Foster himself caught more than 1 30-yard pass last season.

I’m so torn on whether I want to trade for a WR, or if I think we’re ok on Offense, given the options rumored available.

John Brown is a beast.

Cole Beasley has been meh, but he’s still a legit slot WR.

Duke & McKenzie flash potential.

Roberts & Foster are the speed guys.

Are we still hoping for a trade if Josh hits on the deep ball once in a while? We know Foster can get deep once he gets healthy. Roberts has gotten open deep numerous times.

Do we need a WR, or do we just need Josh Allen to get better?

We need a receiver that's better than Brown, but I think it can probably wait for the draft. We should be able to make the playoffs without an upgrade this season and I don't really think an upgrade catapults us into the Super Bowl picture anyways.

If one of the rumored options came cheap, then sure, but otherwise I probably just hold off.

Edit: I suppose need might be strong. I'm sure with Allen improving, another WR roughly of Brown's caliber would be enough. But I'd prefer if we could get to the point where Brown is the #2.

I think it depends on who is available. I don't know if Sanders or anyone else really moves the needle enough to make a move. That said if AJ Green is really available I think you have to at least kick the tires and see what it would take, he's a game changer when healthy. Outside of him I don't know if there is anyone else I would like to see them go after.
