Buffalo Bills 2022 Thread

I'm not real impressed with the Bills" running backs. Am I being too critical? I don't really get to see the Bills that much.

I think Miami and KC are the best two teams on the Bills schedule. Miami has a lot of talent and what appears to be a very good young head coach.
Blow out coming. Don’t be fooled by that joke of a D that Baltimore drew up letting fools run free all second half . Bills are going to pressure Tua (where he folds like an accordion) and play their usual D that keeps things in front of them. Forcing Tua to to methodically drive the ball down the field ., where he’ll up at some point during the drive

I've been a Giants fan since 1958 and because I've lived in Baltimore the last 25 years, I follow the Ravens.

Buffalo has always been on my periphery.

That's the perspective from which I come.

In all the years since 1958 I've never seen a better arm than Allen's, full stop. He's electric. I could watch that guy play all day.
With no claim to expertise, I would still go with Elway. He left marks. That said, Elway and Cunningham might be the best comps I can think of for running and arm strength.

My area is getting Chargers/Jags on Sunday instead of Bills/Dolphins. Are you kidding me?

Those are some random cities that get to see Jags/Chargers. I'm assuming it's because those markets have 1 p.m. games on Fox and the local CBS affiliates don't want to run a game against them with most of that market's audience paying attention to their team's game on Fox. Maybe Chris02M has more insight on this? Also, it doesn't really make sense to me that KC-Indy is the CBS national game and not Bills-Dolphins.

Ya that's BS. They don't want to go against the local game I guess.
Also did Nantz/Romo get demoted to 4th string? Lol @ being in Dallas last week too.

Apparently for the first few weeks of the season the announcers + TV markets are predetermined. Going forward they'll plan like 14 days in advance which announcers will call which games

Yeah and it looks like there are lot of East Coast games on Fox, plus BAL/NE which is typically a CBS game is on Fox this week.

I wish I was as confident. Two rookie CB's, rookie linebacker starting ( if Milano is out) down at least 2 DT's most likely assuming that Settle comes back as he was practicing. I also don't think you will see Micah Hyde back either. I don't think Tua is bad, don't think he is great either but he has some serious weapons to throw at in Waddle, Hill and Gesicki always does well versus Buffalo. I agree they must put heat on Tua who is also pretty fragile.

I think Miami scores points but so does Buffalo. I think it's a tight game. Hopefully Bills have some gas in the 4th to pull it out. Hopefully G Davis is back.

I think Miami is going to be a playoff team, like their coach and they have some talent

I think this statement has become fact in a lot of people's minds because of that one huge game that he had with 8 catches for 130 yards and a TD. That's the only TD he's ever scored against Buffalo and in 7 other games against the Bills he has gone over 50 yards receiving exactly zero times.

Bila only had a walk through but Milano was a full participant. Davis, Oliver and Settle were all limited. Seems like all 3 should be available for Sunday or close to it.

Dane Jackson, Hyde, Phillips and Knox were all DNP

Oh I understand that people will have some trepidation. There are plenty of reasons to, historically. But this ain't that era of Bills football. The only way this is close if there is some crazy turnover luck for Miami.

Looks like Vegas/Tennessee is on Fox. I know it's been a few years since the NFL built in flexibility to the Sunday 1PM/4PM games with the networks but it's still weird to me seeing two AFC teams play on Fox.

Nice garbage game as well .

The injuries for the Bills secondary will have a significant impact. Both Poyer and Hyde did not practice today, Jackson is out for sure. White obviously as well. That's going to be a real issue considering Waddle and Hill will be ready. I think Bills will get there share of points but they will need to get creative or put a ton of pressure on Tua to get some stops

Healthy I think Buffalo is the best team in the NFL but they need some better luck with injuries that we have seen the first two weeks

As long as they have actual bodies in there properly running the scheme and not just letting guys run free, they’ll be fine.

Even with the injuries, I would hope the Bills could do a similar job on defense as New England did in week 1 vs Miami. NE lost mostly cause of their offense.

These injuries in the back are getting absurd. Surprised we're still such a prohibitive favorite tbh.

Hyde situation doesn't appear great. Reported that he is seeking a second opinion for his neck injury. Could be a long term issue.

agreed, doubt he’s getting a 2nd opinion if they told him to sit for a couple weeks. It seems like Jackson will be back sooner the Hyde at this point but who knows. Pretty clear he won’t be playing Sunday.

1st opinion was probably long term injury or worse but it is a neck injury maybe he just being cautious. Hyde and Poyer have been warriors back there for years.
