Buffalo Bills 2022 Thread

Yeah, Monday isn't an option. I think it'll either be a 4 p.m. game or they move it to Detroit. Either way, you'd think a decision would need to be made today, for logistical purposes. Orchard Park area is already getting 6-12" of snow during the day today.

That Thanksgiving game felt like a trap when the schedule first came out, now it reeks. Crazy Buffalo went 25+ years without a Thanksgiving day game to 3 in 3 years. To bad that game wasn't a night game instead of Noon .

I liked it because they then gave us a full week to get ready for the following Thurs night too and then a nice 10 day layoff. Weather just not cooperating too well.

Yes, I did like that they at least gave us a week before that Pats game.

The last time the game was moved the snow was basically cleared around the stadium. The primary issue was that Erie county officials (police etc.) that were necessary for the game were already so worn out that they couldn't be asked to work Sunday.

My gut tells me that a 4pm kick wont do much.

This is the problem. The first responders will either be tied up dealing with real world issues or just be completely exhausted from probably 72 straight hours of busting their tails.

how quick do they get out of town.. i imagine the airport will be closed for a chunk of this time..

Definitely a positive for the Bills.

A positive in terms of game conditions but a disaster in all other areas. Game prep has been totally screwed up. Practice today was cancelled. They went from getting to sleep in their own beds Saturday night to having to travel to the airport on Saturday in likely treacherous conditions, play a game Sunday, come home and then turn right back around on Wednesday to head to the same stadium. Not ideal.

no Tre on Sunday (and presumably, Thursday as well).

Can't remember the last ACL injury that took >1 year for return to action.

This is nothing new, but it's always amusing to see the differential between snowfalls in snowband areas vs. non-snowband areas.

We live in Clarence/E. Amherst (northern suburb), and have maybe 3" of snow. A friend of mine who lives in Hamburg (right by the Orchard Park town line, 5 minutes from stadium and Allen's new house), has 3' and counting.

Ya this is not trending in a good direction

Yup, the sun is currently out at my house in Amherst. I don't think I even have enough snow in my driveway to run the snowblower.

Rousseau and Edmunds out along with White. Gonna be one of those years with injuries unfortunately.

It's only like a 40 min flight each way so the travel portion isn't too much of an issue at least.

Yeah the writing was on the wall for Edmunds when they claimed Klein. Hopefully he's only out a couple weeks.

Pretty pissed about this. Step-son wanted to go to the Michigan-Illinois game (I gave him a break in life and raised him to also be a Michigan football fan as well as Cuse so that he didn't grow up just hating college football) for his bday and that was the original plan and have a hotel room for tonight in Ann Arbor. Ended up changing things around and eating the hotel room for him to come here(DC/Balt area). I had totally forgot about it until I just got a check in notification on my phone for this afternoon. Would have been absolutely bonkers to be there for that game tomorrow and then just grab a room and get a cheap ass Bills game down the road on Sunday. Going to the Thanksgiving game anyway so this is absolutely a 1st world problem but didn't think about it yesterday and would've been awesome.

In crappier news, step-son sat on the tarmac yesterday from about 7:50pm til 10pm before they canceled his flight here. Was scheduled to leave at 7:30 and would've been good if they were on time but was delayed 30 mins and the storm smacked the airport somewhere around 7:45. Not an ideal situation to have a 14 year old on a plane by himself in the middle of a blizzard.

Wow that’s insane! Is this his first major injury? There must be a serious mental block at this point. I kinda get it- I’ve had 21 surgeries myself. Im always a little hesitant at first, but at some point you have to crap or get off the toilet.
