Buffalo Bills 2022 Thread

Ya I wouldn't be shocked if he was active Thursday, Bills clearly need help at Wr

I'm a little pessimistic he'll be a key contributor but if he's anywhere close to what he was in 2019/2020 then it's a good pickup. WR should be a priority in the draft next year

Sounds like Boettger is close to returning to. Morse, Edmunds and Rousseau all back at practice
This is all good news…Brown, we will see, hopefully he can be a net positive but not reasonable to expect him to be a difference maker…

Ya im not expecting anything close to 19 or 20 but a guy who can come in on 3rd down and a few specific pass plays that Allen trusts would be a huge help.

It's pretty tough to understand what we're thinking sometimes.
Our franchise QB likes to throw to WRs; maybe play to his strength & stockpile those guys? Or cornering the market on every Ronnie Harmon in the league/college is another way to go, I guess.

I mean they did sign Crowder and draft Shakir, not like they totally ignored the position. At this point I think it's clear Davis isn't a bonafide #2 WR so they should draft one in the 1st or 2nd round

We all knew that Crowder wouldn't stay healthy, right?

Huge opportunity for the Bills this weekend re: playoff positioning.

Beat the Patriots
Dolphins lose at San Fran
And fingers crossed the Bengals can win at home against KC

If all that happens Buffalo is the 1 seed again.

None of these things probably happen

Kind of feel like the Bills are hanging on by at thread at this point. Soo many injuries, illnesses etc. Pretty evident that Josh's elbow isn't right, wouldn't be surprised if he gets some type of surgery at the end of the year either. That said, this game is huge and I could see anything happening. Nothing would surprise me.

Things go the right way, sets the bills up for a 10 days between next game and two big home games versus jets/ Miami.

and yeah SF and Cinci winning the weekend would be great as well

That 4pm window will either be peak sports entertainment or unwatchable depending on Thurs night. I'm more optimistic about those other games; a little uneasy about ours.

mcCaffrey being hurt doesnt help Miami lose if the rumors are true.
Both RB's are injured for San Fran, but it sounds like McCaffrey will play. I think San Fran and Cincinnati both win. They are both playing as well as anyone right now.

and I think that any Bills fan who isn't uneasy going into Thursday night is living in a dream world. The play on the field the past 5 weeks has been spotty at best and actually quite bad in most areas. This team has shown it can flip a switch but just not sure with what the roster looks like right now if it's going to be there. Quite honestly, the Bills have played like crap more or less since 2nd half of the Packers game and Josh has been like a yo-yo and I am sure the injury is part of it but even before then to a certain extent. Red Zone has been horrid.

They can go on a run but question is if and when it will start and Miami/ Jets are pretty damn good.

Certainly not the team we saw the first few weeks. Tough to really think that this team can make a Super Bowl run with what we have seen past 5 weeks and all the injuries
