Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Anyone see Tyler Dunne's stat of 3.8pts/possession given up in the McD era playoffs. Not breaking any news they've been bad but it being more than the 07 Patriots scored - my God that's gross. How did Allen not bang down Terry's door after :13.

That is kind of wild.

if they hire Joe brady as the head coach i swear I will actively quit this team.
If they hire Dabol as HC AND keep brady as OC i will quiet quit this team

Agree. I'd find that less than inspiring. I'd much prefer new voices in the organization.

My 2c... they are waiting on Kubiak otherwise they would've hired someone by now. Daboll has been available for 3 months. If he was the guy he would be the guy.

What concerns me is that I don't see anything earth shattering with the Jags offense... how is this guy going to be any better than Brady? I think Nix looked great and Darnold is doing great so I guess either Webb or Kubiak would be my top 2.

TBH this is quite an underwhelming bunch of coaches. Huge risk with any of them. But then again I never heard of McD before we hired him and he turned out to be a really really good coach. He just couldn't adjust his D to get off the field during the playoffs.

Agreed. I don't understand why Kubiak is even worth waiting for on its face. If the Bills see it that way than so be it. I am fine with whoever they hire and obviously don't see any home run hires that will leave the fanbase excited in the off season, a select few who have a strong preference? sure, but any of these coaches they hire will be wait and see type guys. (as most are, no Vrabel or Johnson this year) Could be great could get a hell of a lot worse. DC with these young offensive guys will be just as critical. A stable solid DC who isn't looking to jump ship at the next HC opening would be nice as well. A Schwartz type

You just never know without knowing how well certain individuals interview and what their plan is. Obviously, certain guys who look quite similar on paper could be night and day with their approach and how they communicate their vision which still guarantees absolutely nothing

Personally, I am hoping for Daboll HC, Webb OC, crusty old solid vet at DC.

Just my opinion but I think Josh will be more than fine with whoever they hire, it's the 52 other guys that I am more concerned about. I like Daboll but that's just me, certainly can see why many don't.

This is why fans get pissed off about NFL teams hiring retreads or the same old same old...

Yes, Daboll won COY in his first season, leading the Giants to the playoffs a stellar 9-7-1 record, as the rest of the NFC stank.

After that, in 3 seasons (actually 2.6 seasons), he was 11-33 for a robust .250 winning percentage.

As I've said more than once, Bills fans do NOT want this.
