Kincaid was a huge loss, I also think Allen isn't playing as well as he was last year which is understandable he had just an unreal year. Hollins was a nice safety valve but his #s weren't great. I think the lack of an sort of a real WR core outside of Shakir has just caught up with them. Palmer was finally getting involved and he goes down. Coleman is exactly what we feared, not a WR at this level. Buffalo also isn't the backs in the passing game as much as last year, when's the last time we called a fn screen? Atl passed it to the backs about 20 times last night.
Either way they gotta get Gabe activated, get Samuel back out there and get a WR in a trade. Shakir, Palmer, Samuel, Davis and a trade guy isn't the Bengals or Chiefs Wr cores but that should be more then enough when Kincaid returns.
I wouldn't say that Coleman isn't a WR at this level, but it's becoming clearer that he's definitely not a #1 line up on the outside receiver. He'd benefit from being in the slot. Also, last night we kept lining up Coleman opposite of the Falcons top corner and we never moved him to the opposite side of the field or put him in motion for a better matchup. The Falcons corners weren't following players. Instead, we let Shavers work against their weaker CB while Coleman got dogged all game. Just seems like Brady doesn't have a great grasp on how to utilize talent and put them in positions to win matchups.
