Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

That would be incredible but extremely unlikely. I think it's big Greg, Bosa the new guy and AJ on the edge. Hoping to bring back Douglas on a 1 year deal for $6m and then use a day 1 or 2 pick on a CB and a DT to get those guys ready to go and then BPA with the other since we could use someone basically everywhere except QB and TE. Would love an IOL somewhere by rd 4 too since that's a sneaky big need with McG and Edwards FAs after next year and won't want to be paying both of them with the way even average starter interior guys have started to get paid.
Unless a big-time DT drops to 30 (e.g. Grant) I would go CB with first pick and grab one of many quality DTs in Round 2. Would anticipate packaging some of their many mid-late round picks to move up.

1 year deal, high risk/ High reward. If he's playing in 12 out of 17 games and healthy in the playoffs then probably worth it. Huge risk on the injury side of things. Don't hate it though

Draft they could now go CB, Safety, or DT.
The major fear being those 12 games he plays which would be more than he's averaged the last 3 years end up being the ones from Sept-Nov. Guess that's baked into the cost though because if he was playing 17 games a year and going for 10+ sacks a year then he's in the middle of another 4 year $100m contract.

Neither position is ideal at the end of the 1st. Most of the DTs outside of Grant are 3 tech's and not 1 tech's so that isn't a great match for what we need. 1 tech's usually aren't something you want to use a 1st rd pick on unless they are special which Grant possibly could be. The CBs aren't perfect either because the likely values there are Barron and Hairston and they are both a bit undersized though Barron is a helluva football player. I'd love to go get Will Johnson if he someone keeps tanking his stock and is available in the 20s. I'd also sign up for Malachi Starks with no hesitation.

Based on Beane's history, any guesses at pick 30 are probably pointless because he's either going to come up a bit to get the guy he is targeting or he is going to go down and likely try to get himself back that 3rd rounder that was used on Cooper.

Yeah he's a distressed asset for sure and hence the one year deal. I don't see Bosa as anything more than a one year rental whether the Bills win or lose on this one but I guess you never know

so dont play him the first 12 games and set him up for the playoffs.
That will NEVER happen, but you know that. Got to make the playoffs first before you have a problem in them

Another bunch of moves today by the Bills
Hamlin re-signed for 1 year - Assuming this is for depth no issue
Larry Ogunjobi - 1 year deal - like this move a lot
Darrick Forrest - 1 year deal. Buffalo definitely adding new blood to the safety room is a must so good to see this deal.

Bills have seven picks in Rounds 4-6. Let's watch BBB move up for something tasty.

He’s going to be dealing like Kevin Costner (ridiculous movie by the way)

I don't know what it would take to move up to the middle of round one but would be real excited to grab CB Jahde Barron.

Barron would be a great get IMO. Would make up for not getting McDuffie in 2022

There's a lot of D-line talent in the draft but if teams start snagging them in Round 1, it can cause a couple of the CBs to fall

Barron is a great player but I don't think he fits our need as an outside zone corner, he played more nickel and safety at Texas. Could work out fine but a little more risk then I'd prefer when our arguably best defensive player is also a nickel corner.

Good news is that Buffalo should be in a spot to take BPA assuming they bring back Douglas or bring in Samuel Jr at CB. I think secondary depth in general is still a concern I think a CB or Safety is clearly in play for a 1st or 2nd round pick. You would also have to think Dline is going to be in play as well especially at DE.

From an offensive standpoint WR still seems like a spot we will try and address relatively early. The Cook situation bears watching as he seems likely to hold out but hard to see Buffalo using a mid round pick there again. OL and TE seem like late round flyers as Buffalo could use a young guy for both.

Yep I think CB is now the favorite to be drafted in round 1.

Still think they'll take two DL (1 Edge and 1 NT/1 tech,) Ogunjobi signing concerns me regarding Carter.

With Ty back in the fold at RB I could see them addressing RB in the draft in 2026 when Cook leaves, but who knows.
