Do you think Ogunjobi will just be a better fit in our defense than he was at Pitt? I wasn't too excited about the article I read, but I defer to your judgment

Just don't look at his 2024 PFF page. It's one of the worst I've ever seen. Always tough to play CB on a horrible team but yeeeeesh. As long as he was cheap and the plan is for him to be the backup to both outside CBs then I'm good with it.
 
Would love to grab an elite CB in the draft. Having read a number of mock drafts, I think the Bills will need to move ahead of the Ravens to get one of the top ones (e.g. Barron). A deal with the Vikings who are lacking in picks would accomplish that.

Good question, I know there's a discussion about what system he fits in better and 1 vs 3 technique. To me your getting a guy whose a veteran who you can hopefully rely on whether its playing with ED or backing him up etc. We do need to play to his strength from what Ive read Pitt plays a bit of an odd D formation and he was out of his normal comfort zone. I think hopefully playing in Buffalo's Nickel D he will be back to his old self

I am hoping this is signing is just about him being that #3 CB and replacing Elam. I think in that capacity its a great signing. I can't imagine Buffalo projects him to be the starter, that would be a major mistake.

Definitely a depth piece (and an upgrade over Elam, regardless of how poorly he may have played in Carolina).

Huh, well didn't see that one coming. Love Tre but I think the injuries have pretty much taken their toll. I guess as depth its a good signing but I'd be surprised if both he and Dane Jackson made the roster.

Article I just read indicated he was awful with the Rams and a little better in a limited role with the Ravens. Agree that I wouldn't have high hopes.

One year at $6.8m, at least initially reported. Agree with your assessment, more of a depth move as he’s (unfortunately) lost a step…

$6.8m seems incredibly steep. I must be missing something here.

That’s my assumption as well- team friendly contract with incentives. If it’s fully guaranteed, then I have the same questions you probably do.

Still feels like a lot is riding on the draft class this year…
 
Even when he was cut last year, I always felt Tre would end back in BUF on a cheap deal. He was a huge part of the culture change and obviously the staff loves him.

The Ravens used him as in dime personnel on WRs so I imagine he'll be used in similar situations this year

Derrick Harmon may be available at 30. Rumors are there are some medical concerns. Seemed fine at the Combine. No idea what the issue might be.
