I haven’t forgotten when the Bills passed on drafting SU’s Dwight Freeney for OT Mike Williams who was considered a draft bust.
We needed to. Look what the Eagles defense did to KC in the Superbowl. They took the CB and DT needs to heart lol

And one of the corners also has experience at safety. Which is nice. And what having to play Elam in the AFC Championship game did.
I like what they added this weekend, more athleticism and potential starters and depth on DL and CB. Excited to see how the defense comes together!

They were looking for an H Back who blocks.Agreed think it was a pretty good draft. Really loaded up at CB and DT. Would have liked a higher Wr or a safety (supposedly one of the CBs will get a look there) but all in all darn good.
One thing that intrigues me is 4 picks after Gadsden went Buffalo took a TE, I wonder if they would have scooped him up if he was still there.

They have exactly one starting DB who has positive WAR in Benford and he is one concussion away from retirement I suspect. Taron is good as the nickel but he would get exposed as a starter. They have zero safeties with a positive WAR. Rapp is a great back up on a good defense and Bishop is pretty unknown at this point.3 CBs this draft seems a bit overkill. Was hoping for McCord with that last pick
they essentially traded Diggs and a second to move up a few picks in the same round. And that not being the first round .They have exactly one starting DB who has positive WAR in Benford and he is one concussion away from retirement I suspect. The kid they drafted from OSU profiles as a safety or another nickel. The kid from Kentucky is the starter and the Hokie kid is depth. I think they could have and maybe should have drafted a true safety over that TE they got.
I like the draft… I wish Beane had not given up the 2nd rounder and drafted the two best available defensive players at the spots.
Ouch. He couldn’t even get on the field 40% of snapsWe might be bringing Amari Cooper back. With no WRs drafted so far.

I don’t question the picks… I do question the trade up. The probability of getting a starter is much higher in the second round than third I’m guessing. Anyways it is what it is at this point… he definitely addressed the biggest weakness.![]()
Bills GM testy with radio hosts over draft criticism
Bills general manager Brandon Beane began a Monday morning radio appearance with a strong response to criticism against the team's approach to the wide receiver position.www.espn.com
This is pretty funny. I have 0 complaints. If you told me on Thursday morning that this was the draft class, sign me up. Had 2 desperate needs and stuffed 6 dudes into those 2 needs. Hope 1 CB and 1 DL become starters by end of year 1 and that 1 of each becomes a starter or at least a contributor in year 2. That's all you can really ask for. If you get 3 starters in a draft that's considered good, if you get 4 it's considered great.
I never understood the pick. He was a RT in college but they drafted him to play LT. if you’re so great why were you a RT? Was your QB left handed ?Didn't even take the best tackle that draft either
Gabe Davis released. Shouldn’t cost too much. Jags owe him about 12 million guaranteed for this year. Any interest ?
Agreed, that ship has sailed. Yet, if Josh Allen wants him back is the real question. I would be surprised to see him back though, I would say Steelers or SaintsNo thanks, the guy was a no-show half the time in 2023. He had 7 games with 1 or 0 catches that season, technically at WR2. That's awful, IMO. He also can't seem to stay healthy.
