Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

I don’t think we’re playing very well. But the jets are just that bad

Ya that's probably true. Seem to at least be playing the run better and doing it without Ed and Taron. Safety play definitely still a major concern

What! They just switched out of the bills game on my local channels .. mind you I have Sunday ticket ., but when I try to go to the Sunday ticket channel, it’s blacked out cause it’s supposedly on my local channel. Which it’s NOT anymore

As a Jets fan, I'm pleased to report I have James Cook on my fantasy team. Yes, I started him today.
I get the feeling my Fields sit/starts are going to be wrong all year, 0-2 so far.

Way to pad them stats there Lamar . Up 34-10 with 4 minutes left

1. Why you in the game
2. Why you throwing?

Congrats on being the GOAT regular season QB

Milano with a Pectoral injury. Sounds like it could be long term. Dude just can't stay healthy.
Unfortunately think you may be correct, he’s an unbelievable player but can’t stay on the field. Hopefully he can make it back quick, especially after how much better the defense looked last week (albeit against the Jets)..,

I often think Milano is the type of guy that when he retires he will be 30-35 pounds lighter than his playing weight, like his body is always under some type of stress because of it and the injuries at this point are almost inevitable. I just feel he has to work so hard in the weight room to mainatin LB type size that it's a detriment to his overall well being. I know this is quite common for many NFL players. I remember seeing Tim Green a few years after he retired and it was like a different person, was hard to imagine him carrying another 40-50 pounds.

Didn’t he have a pectoral injury a couple years ago? Swear to god they should just sit everyone till the playoffs .

He did yes. I feel like this may actually be pec injury #3?

Milano to me is an incredible athlete obviously, natural size probably puts him at safety but probably just not fast enough to be an NFL safety so he has bulked up over the years to play a super athletic LB with great ball skills. Like I said, just my 2 cents.

Joe Thomas is a good example. Guy was fighting to stay that large and play OL.

What kinda sucks about this season, and it comes with the territory of being successful year over year, is that no matter what the bills do in the regular season, it won’t matter unless it’s BAD. They could. Go 15-2 and nobody will care even a little bit.

The 4 Super Bowl run just happened to be in my 4 years of high school (yes now everyone can back into how old I am)... when I tell people that their response is "I'm sorry". My response back is always that I'm not sorry because I would rather go into each season knowing that my team is going to be one of the two or best three teams in the league and one of the funnest to watch.

Compare that to the drought years... sure those random wins against the Cowboys and Patriots were fun in the moment, but I remember NOTHING about those seasons and I pretty much stopped following the NFL with any real interest during that period. It really sucked knowing that football season was effectively over for me by Halloween (if I was lucky).

True Bills fans will treasure every win and every moment... while demanding more because we know there is more to get. In my opinion the most talented QB I've seen in my lifetime was John Elway (note not the best QB, that's Brady hands down)... I think by the time all is said and done I will be saying that Josh Allen is the most talented QB I've seen in my lifetime. And I will enjoy every single second of it regardless of a SB victory or not.

They get the #1 seed that would be great but agreed they need to get to the Super Bowl for season to be considered a success and if they get there and lose that would really suck as well because there are no guarantees of ever getting back. Buffalo needs a Super Bowl while Josh Allen is the QB. They need to win at least one and two would be great. It's a tough spot to be in for sure as the expectations are Super Bowl or bust. Hoping the 2 guys that comeback after suspension week seven will help as well. Bosa has played well but him staying healthy for 20 games would be a miracle. They have to have some good luck as well. Avoiding the Ravens would be a god send as well.

All that said, it's been a great run for Bills and their fans since Beane/ McDermott and Josh Allen have come along and I don't think anyone cany deny that, people can take issue with this and that but they have built a really great franchise at this point. Did they get lucky drafting Josh? sure they did but as did KC drafting Mahomes as did the Ravens drafting Lamar, Pats with Brady etc etc. It takes some good fortune as well but they need to capitalize on these opportunities at some point.

Who can forget when the Lions lost to SF a couple years ago in the NFC championship and Dan Campbell was 100% honest saying you just don't know how many real shots you are going to get like that to get to the Super Bowl. He was spot on and not blowing typical coach speak smoke. Their injury luck and poor play vs Commanders leading to an early exit last year was case in point. It's extremely difficult for so many reasons

Light years beyond Whaley/Brandon.

I remember years ago before a game I saw Whaley riding in a golf cart. I said hi to him and he seemed happy to be recognized. I then told him that he stunk. His face immediately turned gloomy and he looked at the ground. I actually felt bad for the guy.

I get that too & feel the same way. Super annoying and one of the top reasons I'd like to win once; just so I can blend in and be a normal football fan. I'd imagine a title will make these reg. seasons with a leaving dream for a QB more enjoyable.
:13 should've been Lombardi #1, bleeping McDermott. Sorry.
