New England's offense has been top 5 in basically all the important metrics this season; they just had some turnover issues early on that hid it.I know it’s the titans , but New England’s offense looks much smoother than ours has all year against some pretty bad defenses
On the flipside though, even after the last two weeks, we are still #4 in both yards per game and points per game and I believe #6 in offensive DVOA. I think by the eye test, the offense looked pretty amazing the first 4 weeks. Against the Patriots, things were a lot more inconsistent, though we racked up the yards thanks to targeting Kincaid a ton but had a bunch of turnovers that cost us and then this past week we just sucked.
The defense is probably a lost cause though. The only slight provider of hope is that we get the suspended boys back this upcoming week and if Hairston is able to play this year, he could help solidify the corner position. Those safeties will probably always prevent us from being even passable defensively though.
