Buffalo Bills 2025 Thread

Not me but I did put two bets on the Sabres yesterday. +5,000 to win the Cup and +1,900 to make the finals. Is Vegas not watching?
I mentioned you needed to make the be at Caesers and get the +10000

2/3 of the way thru the season. this break will help some and hurt others. Sabres would probably like to keep playing.

Brutal 4 games stretch coming up

Yeah thanks. Going to sign up today again with Caesers. Used my FD account yesterday.

I like Joe Brady and obviously hope he is great but nothing he does from yesterday until the 1st real game will mean anything really. First test is can he get to the playoffs in year 1 and then make a run. He has to at least get where McDermott did every year in year 1 and hopefully further. I hate to say it but I get Nate Hackett vibes from him and worst case his tenure to me screams "be careful what you wish for" with regard to the players.

Time will tell but he's still a rookie head coach no matter what way you look at it

Certainly appears that he will be a players coach type.

Sometimes that goes well and sometimes that goes terribly wrong.

Brees OC most of his career.
Yeah he was fine with Payton calling plays and Drew Brees, not so much when Payton and Brees were gone from New Orleans which was a tough ask considering what was left. I don’t hate it, he could be what Brady needs as a play calling HC. At the end of the day he also has a top1-3 QB in the league no matter what way you look at it. Should be fine. JIm Leonhard is a home run hire at DC, defense will be much different whether that’s good, bad or indifferent remains to be seen

I'm liking how the new staff is shaping up

Carmichael - Lots of OC experience and history with Payton/Brady, doesn't need to call plays but can really help put together the offensive game plan. With a few additions, the Bills talent can really match what those old Saints teams were on offense.

Meyer - Used to work under Kromer so there will be some continuity with the OL teaching/development

Leonhard - Nuff said.

I hope the Bills invite McDermott back to attend the Super Bowl parade.

I think if Allen didn’t have a broken foot, we’d have been in the Super Bowl and this entire sequence never unfolds.
