With everyone craving a big man.. check out this young buck (more like a moose), Enoch Boakye. SU can tap right back into that Canadian pipeline.

Enoch checks in at 6'10" 240 at 16 years old (sophomore) and plays at George Harris Prep (St. Jude's Academy) in Mississauga, Ontario. Considered the #1 ranked player in Canada. He also plays on the FIBA u16 Team Canada.

Aggressive, athletic big that looks to dunk everything. Good hands and coordinated. Strong post game. Runs the floor well (even seen him handle and push the ball up the floor). Really good rebounder and rim protector. Working on his jumper.

Holds 9 offers: Western Kentucky, UCLA, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Houston, Denver, BYU, Arizona.

Here is a video package from him playing at the Elite 100 over the summer...

Would love to get this kid. It will be interesting as this season goes on and next how recruiting is for 2022

He might make an immediate impact here ... as a junior after he learns all the rotations, covering the corner 3, and how to set picks at the 3-point line before rolling to the hoop and never ever seeing a pass come his way (except a no-look jump pass at 100mph towards his knees).
Sad but accurate description

wonder where he's heading next

FWIW, Oates at AL has cleaned up getting the top guys out of Ontario, CN lately

Well, well, well. We’ve had some success with multiple decommitments from Michigan schools in the past. Would be a good one to have here
Would be an awesome fallback [more like, pennies from heaven].

Interesting comments from his coach. I don't see this even being a slight possibility but if the kid is looking for playing time he just needs to look at our roster!

“When we look at schools we don’t look at the wins and losses column, because it’s his job to come in and impact winning. If you’re a five-star recruit, a game-changer, it doesn’t matter what their record is the season before, you’re going to come in and dominate your position and help win games. We don’t really look at the win/loss column, we just want an opportunity for a coach to play him as a freshman. I think that’s the most important thing. He’s not afraid to compete, he’s not afraid to come in and earn his spot but at the same time, we’re looking for a coach that has a reputation playing freshmen.

This kid wants minutes!? He can have as many minutes as he can play before fouling out.
Yes the talent is there with him but I have an issue with guys who just want to walk into an uncontested job, strikes me as someone shy of failure or competition or both. Would be a great get but would have to light a fire in him. Need guys with competitive edges.
