So if this kid can play we should take him.
I just don’t want another Chino who will eat up a scholarship for 3 years and not ever contribute.

Doesn’t really matter if he is a C or PF if he can play the coaches will teach him the zone defensively.
I am just sick of these defensive first bigs who can’t even catch the ball.

It’s not hard to find a big who can be on the court in the ACC and atleast just be a 4th/5th option in the a few times a game.

Chuwku nice kid and good clutch FT shooter but he had absolutely no offensive game. I want a Wayne Blackshear type big. It’s not a lot to ask for Syracuse.

With the scholarship reductions having Chino for 2 more years was like having an even extra scholarship penalty.
I am sure he was a nice kid but he played 94 minutes in 2 years.
When we were short handed.

We need a big who can play. I would take Craig Forth or Jeremy McNeal right now.

I just figured out our recruiting strategy. It's called the game of RISK. Not only do we take over the world one country at a time but we recruit players who come with a risk factor. 188 lb but he wants to come to Cuse and get a cheerleader girlfriend like his twin Marek. What a country!!!

This is a question I had.

IMG Academy had 5 guys in the Top 100 in the Class of 2019, and none of those guys are on the court with him.

I believe they have a post-graduate team and a varsity team. Trying to find a roster with him listed but can't find one.

Nice! I'm all for bringing in more talent and developing kids for our future. Safe to say no one knows enough about this kid to determine if he will be a project or not. Hopefully this is like the foreign kids Mark Few snags and they end up being awesome college players!

I haven't seen any highlights but hearing his measureables I obviously like the length, overall size not quite as much. Either way, we needed another C badly, so this at least checks that box. Now, as for actually playing... we shall see. The competition for PT between JBA, Sidibe, and Edwards could be pretty solid. That said, just because competition between a few players is good, that doesn't mean the overall skill is enough to provide quality minutes against legit teams.
