He had offseason meniscus surgery before Creighton and it just sounds like he wasn't able to ramp up like he had hoped. It happens.
This is a risk, but one with a high percentage of working out.
Knee is not the issueYeah having been through the process twice you aren’t yourself for at least 10 months
Can you tell us what’s up then?Knee is not the issue
The knee was definitely part of the issue last year. If it wasn't, let's hear it.Knee is not the issue
Like I said, he was 100% healthy after first 1/4-1/2 of year and wish him nothing but the best, he is a good hard working kid from Iowa. My preference is to get a center who is 7’0” , can defend, plays above the rim, gets dunks and rebounds, will leave it that. I know it’s a tough market right now $ for centers. The knee was definitely part of the issue last year. If it wasn't, let's hear it.
I’m a season ticket holder, know the coaches and players not going to divulge anything other than to say he is a great kid and hard worker which everyone on the team knows. Not talking about random fans on the outside.
So, Creighton just didnt think he was talented enough to play?Like I said, he was 100% healthy after first 1/4-1/2 of year and wish him nothing but the best, he is a good hard working kid from Iowa. There is literally zero reason to be this vague. Just tell us what you know or don’t say anything at all.Like I said, he was 100% healthy after first 1/4-1/2 of year and wish him nothing but the best, he is a good hard working kid from Iowa. He’s from Illinois…Like I said, he was 100% healthy after first 1/4-1/2 of year and wish him nothing but the best, he is a good hard working kid from Iowa. He is a local kid and was not asked back not even for a paycut. The coaches see the kid play everyday and fans who have season ticketsSo, Creighton just didnt think he was talented enough to play?
and sit on the sideline can easily understand. Think he would be a perfect fit at UNI, Drake, etc…Not a local kid - from Moline, IL…He is a local kid and was not asked back not even for a paycut. Sorry, but I just have to be that “angry poster guy” for a second. I know you’re not going say anything else but for crying out loud, these cryptic replies are exhausting.Knee is not the issue
Lol...so his first 2 years were a fluke in a major conference and he has 1 bad year at Creighton and now he needs to go play ball at the local YMCA league? Weird take. Sounds like a kid that had a injury and then struggled to come back around. And maybe the fit there wasn't right for whatever reason. It's not a talent issue. But we know now that he's a good kid at least. He is a local kid and was not asked back not even for a paycut. Yeah im so sure you know what it is.There is a reason
I live 45 mins. from Quad Cities. Omaha is not local, lol!Not far 4 hour drive in the Midwest this is local
Does he have psychiatric or substance abuse problems?Like I said, he was 100% healthy after first 1/4-1/2 of year and wish him nothing but the best, he is a good hard working kid from Iowa. I have said enough, it’s going to be what it is and trust that the coaches all know the inside scoop and said risk with any player, especially a key/ expensive one. Ironically Kaleb Joseph went from SU to CU and boy they thought he was going to be player of the yearSorry, but I just have to be that “angry poster guy” for a second. I know you’re not going say anything else but for crying out loud, these cryptic replies are exhausting.
If he’s not lazy and it’s not his knee, then did he run over the coach’s dog? Tell the team he was taking the season off? Tell fans to “get a life”? Seriously, if he legit tried to get himself back into playing form and his knee was completely healed, what else is there to cause Creighton fans to blast him?
I’m getting a lot of grief right now, karma…
