Apparently you are that guy, want to be or not.

Is it not the truth? Do you think Jesse Edwards could be farther along with earlier playing time?
Why didn't we play some of the guys who just left a little more? We had *zero* forwards coming back when the season ended. The two starters left, but then the 2 back-ups, too. That makes absolutely no sense.

Not to be "that guy", but remember, Boeheim has to play them for them to develop.
I think it is very pessimistic to label him a “program” guy, or worry about him needing to worry about court time.

IDK. Frank was force fed and regressed.

Definitely should have played Quincy a lot more so he would’ve stayed. Your story is tired, brother. Kadary got big minutes for a freshman, Braswell got good minutes, Q got gobs, etc. That may or may not have anything to do with why they left.

Quincy wanted to play differently, not necessarily more. JB was putting it out there that Q could be an All American candidate this year. Q wanted to shoot 3 pointers, but he is not a 3 point shooter.
JB played Braswell a lot, especially considering his injury history. Kadary is what it is. He would not have been happy with less than 35 minutes a game. There were also some reports that he didn’t play as JB wanted him to play. Only certain people really know what went on behind the scenes.
Duncan and Sherm couldn’t stand each other, and Duncan thought he should have played ahead of Sherm, so Duncan left.
JB wouldn’t promise Kadary the starting spot and big minutes, so he left.
We’ll be okay.

He will be at Oregon--or, at least, that's likely what they promised him.

The bigger question is whether he will be a 3-point maker.

I think that Syracuse has a really, really good shot at picking up Carey in the near future.

Now that we have Copeland, this is the next most important guy, to me.

Sure, the loss of Lands hurt, but those kinds of players are more replaceable. There are lots of wing guys out there. It's the easiest position to fill with someone acceptable to pretty good.

Big guys who still play big, and true point guards who look to set up others first - those are the 2 hardest things to get.

Because every big guy wants to shoot threes now, and every point guard wants to try to score, since he's got the ball in his hands anyway.

So I want Carey next. Those other guys we are now looking at are not actual centers. They're a lot like all our other forwards, except maybe more "4" than "3" - shot blockers rather than three point shooters.

Wouldn't be shocked if he commits after the visit

Hopefully he also impresses at camp too. Obviously those two to things would be closely aligned given the staff would be more aggressive to get that commitment on the spot as well.
