LIFE IS A CIRCLE
We tried twice to get him. Once as a a high school recruit and the second time when he was in the portal from Florida State. We have had one too many back up centers from FSU. I would say PassHaha. I think SU had a good chance prior to the 22 season but he didn’t want to sit behind Jesse.
We really didn’t make any effort of consequence on either occasion. We tried twice to get him. Once as a a high school recruit and the second time when he was in the portal from Florida State. We have had one too many back up centers from FSU. I would say Pass
I was told by some people in the office that Life is a highway.LIFE IS A CIRCLE
In the movie Mega Force when the Hero blows up the generals plush Helicopter he yells to him (It's all on the wheel, what goes around comes around)I was told by some people in the office that Life is a highway.
Man I read that first sentence differently and my thoughts were, "on this board? Then we'd have minimal content."People kept saying no previous retreads but here we are lol.
He was much better this year - but it’s a pass from me too.

Second time’s the charm. We tried twice to get him. Once as a a high school recruit and the second time when he was in the portal from Florida State. We have had one too many back up centers from FSU. I would say Pass
It's hard to say what might have happened, but it sure seems like Anselem made a huge mistake leaving Syracuse.Interesting to see some poster’s thoughts again on Frank Anselm and how giving Jesse Edwards more time chased Frank from SU which we would regret. He was on Louisville’s team this past year, his 5th, after a 2 year stop at Georgia.

I think he's pretty good. He's better than Naheem. Here are some notable games against legit competition.I feel like we do a weird thing with bigs where when one doesn't pan out we project that player on to all other bigs that aren't surefire studs. For a while every big guy we had that needed development was compared to Seann Williams (aka the cat catcher). I'm wondering if our experience with Naheem leads us to downgrade other guys.
I don't know how good Ballard is or isn't, but I don't think if Naheem was on his team that he would have put up the numbers he did.

19/15/2 blocks against OK St in the NIT.
19/7/4 blocks against Memphis
10/10 against Memphis
12/13/2 blocks against Temple
10/10/3 blocks against Kansas State
7/7/3 blocks against Minnesota
10/5 in just 19 minutes against Kansas last year.
15 games with double digit rebounds this year. 23 games with 3 blocks or more over the past two seasons. I am not sure what we else we want in a center. He's played well against good teams.
The games against Memphis are what really sold me on Q being ready for the ACC this time.I think he's pretty good. He's better than Naheem. Here are some notable games against legit competition.

I appreciate all of you folks that actually do the homework to look up stats that validate the stuff I kind of make up and just assume I'm right about.I think he's pretty good. He's better than Naheem. Here are some notable games against legit competition.

Using BPR when talking about McLeod is a dangerous game. BPR and PER think McLeod is an absolute stud. Also best BPR on his team including defensive BPR. Hes a much different player at his size than Naheem. Moves with intention, quick reaction times and overall has developed into a really solid collegiate center.
His offensive BPR is very impressive too.
