Camping World Bowl rep says Syracuse will be 'first team we discuss'

In what world do you need 200 people on a bowl selection committee? I wonder if that is a classic syracuse dot com typo...
In the world of let me hook some friends up with a do nothing high pay job.

See, I got a different vibe from what the rep said. Sounded like they would consider syracuse but they would prefer NC State
Its nc state not UNC they are the rutgers of nc. Other than.an overrated qb what do they bring to the table?

Nope. I mean NC State will bring much more fans to Orlando. Thus more money to the city.
You must have missed the part from another poster where they received an allotment of 6000 tickets the last time they played in Orlando for this Bowl and could only sell half and had to give the other half away to the military.

ECU is part of the North Carolina University system, I'm sure there getting paid a bundle to lie down and take a beating from NC State. 62-14 or something similar.

Since your so clever, why don't you explain this to me. Why would NC State, Ryan Finley or his agent want him to play another meaningless game of college football when he is one of the top QB's in the upcoming draft? He should not even play in the bowl game.
Quick question: Why do you constantly and deliberately insist on hijacking threads?

I hope you're enjoying yourself because it has become increasingly tiresome.

Well I couldn't resist the Citrus Sports Cyber Monday deal. I now have two tickets to the Camping World Bowl and a pair for the Citrus Bowl. Paid $110 total after fees. So I am really hoping Cuse ends up in Orlando!!

belief without evidence

I’m not sold on this. Since when was NC State some large, rabid, football crazed fanbase?
There’s nothing to support the claim other then geography and that disregards the number of Orange fans in Florida that will be there. Other than the Orange Bowl where we played Florida and were greatly outnumbered, numbers wise SU has done well attendance wise.

I can say this we absolute certainty, ISU fans and alums would rather go to Alamo Bowl. More of them will travel there than will to Orlando.

ABSOLUTELY, jumping time zones is like leaving the country for some Midwesterners.

Agree, they are the red headed step child of tobacco road and Finley is a whole lotta hype.

They got out of the red headed step child spot when Syracuse joined the conference to become the Orange headed step child.

What do we need to happen on Saturday for us to have the best chance to play in the Camping World Bowl?

ECU beating NC State would pretty much end any discussion. So - this.

There are several other games where the outcome could nudge the needle a bit in our direction, but this would be the nail in the Pack's coffin re: CWB.

Problem is - Jeff Blake ain't walking thru that door.

And if he did, he's pretty old now, so I don't think it'd help much. ;)

A squeaker by Oklahoma over Texas and OSU blowing out Northwestern would help.
