Unbelievably, two late-stage recruits and we are fighting with Oklahoma (Dowels and Thomas). Can't say that's happened in a long time if ever. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. In the least (along with Sykes), at least we're in the game with some of the "big boys".

The problem becomes with using time and resources on these guys and then they don't shake out then you get kinda stuck. Opportunity cost i believe is the economic term (going back 20 years on that so don't hold me to it).

Really crossing my fingers in the hopes that we close on this class after such a promising start. Come on coaching staff, get it done.

I hear ya man. Difficult to be the team that gets picked over by the heavyweights and the lower on the food chain you are the more difficult it must be to digest. Its good to be in the running with the big boys as we've discussed but it can be unforgiving too. Here's hoping there's some celebrations among the certain dissapointments that will come.

Taking official visit to Syracuse 1/17.

I hope our coaches book there flights so they can be on the OU campus on the 17th since Dowels is now scheduled for a campus visit with OU on the same date. Sweet.
