that was an extremely encouraging read. my only worry is OU backed off because there were academic concerns. OU doesn't take chances on non qualifiers though, so that doesn't mean he won't qualify. Just means he may have some work to do next semester. Let's hope it all works out because this kid could be a game changer.

We seem to be the main players in those two recruits and not a mention about us, not that it really matters. Maybe the story teller might be taken back a little that Syracuse could be them out for two recruits.

they did made a late unsuccessful run at Kendall Moore last year, and tried getting involved with Aaron Roberts this year. They happily picked up our scraps when we moved on from Dionte Savage last season as well. They definitely don't consider us a serious contender, which is their fault since it was in fact Dowels who moved their visit so he could come to Cuse...or at least that's what both parties have said.

I don't think that there's a recruit that has verballed that I'm not excited about. Even when someone commits elsewhere, I seem to have adopted the Shafer attitude of "Next Man Up". Bring on the next guy who wants to be a part of something special.
