CDRW transferring to Marshall

Will be interesting to see how he does there. I dont think they have any returning QBs, they are all in the portal due to coaching change.

Better football movie, who ya got?

The Express vs We Are Marshall vs Run The Race

CDRW 51/65 637 yards 9 TD 0 int 164 yards rushing 2 td

I don't blame anyone for someone transferring to play. But you can't help but wonder

CDRW?

I actually didn't think he was even good enough to be productive even at a non Power 5 school. That Friday night game vs BC sticks out in my mind with how bad our offense was. So good for Carlos. I'm happy he could find a situation where he could be successful.

If we played Louisiana and Middle Tennessee every week he would have been great here. That being said, very happy for him and no I don’t think he would have succeeded here under Fran and Nixon
The Tulane Qb had no problem lighting up the Duke defense. Is Tulane more talented than Syracuse? Is there QB that much better? he is a transfer from BYU, not LSU. I think people get carried away here.

i'm surprised too

elon threw better against duke than we did
as I said, it was one of the worst Syracuse games I can remember, if not the worst considering the opponent and that is saying something. I am surprised I haven't seen the press coverage or bigger, faster, stronger arguments

I always felt like Jacobian Morgan had some intriguing tools / upside, but would be one of those guys who would take a couple of years to develop. And true to form, looks like he's rounded into a decent collegiate QB. Maybe shifting down a level helped him actualized that potential, too.

Never felt like CDRW had much upside. He had a couple of starts and saw a fairly decent amount of snaps, but never looked like he had the innate feel for the position. Have also heard that his focus / work ethic were lacking. Maybe that's changed. And maybe moving down a level was a good shift for him.

Either way, wish both of them well -- but think we are in a better spot with the direction we're going at QB.
