Celebrities in SU gear

He epitomizes the evolution in comedy from subtle and intelligent to obnoxious
Two biggest examples of this IMO are The Simpsons and The Office. First few seasons of each are as good as TV gets in modern American history, but the shows eventually became unwatchable.

This is a strange comment. They had Chevy Chase portraying Gerald Ford as a total buffoon in season 1. SNL has been politically mean spirited since the day it first aired.
Ackroyd as Carter
Hartman as Clinton
Carvey as Bush 42
Ferrell as W
Pharaoh as Obama

Even John Lovitz played Michael Dukakis

These are only some of the many political impressions that have been on SNL.

For my money, the best SNL political sketch of all time was Phil Hartman as secret genius Ronald Reagan.

“Get back to work!”

Classic.

"You don't need to understand. Only I need to understand!"

Now I'm going to get sad about losing Phil Hartman too soon. He was such a gem on that show.

For the record, I liked Pete Davidson's work at the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe. But I don't watch SNL anymore. Too late for this old man, just catch an occasional clip here and there.

The only time Davidson’s funny is as his SNL character “Chad”.

Edit: As Chip mentioned, he was also good on the Rob Lowe & Bieber Comedy Central Roasts.

That one very quickly turned into the Roast of Ann Coulter.

Partially true. They are mean spirited mainly to one party.

Anyone have a clip of the skit where he was wearing it?

BTW, ugliest logo ever
What, you kidding me? This logo...is a work of art.
Unique, eclectic, with a subtle insouciance of purpose! JMHO
