Class of 2026 CG Ryan Moesch (NY) to Siena

Supremely underrated in this class.
Haven’t seem him in person, but seems as if he could be a legit d1 guy. Showing out against Blair was legit. Maybe a tougher Girard type who can do a little of everything, just not as good a shooter? More of an educated guess lol

Not comparable players. Moesch is a true point with elite athleticism. Doesn’t shoot it as well as Girard.

A+ athlete. I saw him and his brother play while at Chittenango and the athleticism was striking. His brother was a real good athlete (Plays at Hobart) and Ryan was at another level even just being a soph that year. Looked like he was 12 yrs old and just flying up and down the court!

IF Gerry becomes coach, I assume Ryan will follow him here.
Confused Robert Downey Jr GIF

Ranked in the top150 by the services, Moesch is a consensus 4 star recruit. That is a heck of a pickup for Siena.

I would point out, Moesch would be our best recruit in the 2026 class.

Well to be fair I would be our best recruit in the 2026 class, if I wasn't a class of 2023.

Wow did this age poorly.
If any of our players went 3-12 from three they would get crucified. He’s not a shooter. He does a lot of other things well. If you let Kiyan shoot 12 threes, he’ll probably make about three too. As far as Ryan is concerned, I’ll stick with what I said. Do we really want another two guard who can’t shoot?

Ehh about 4 of those were chucking when they were down late. Was pretty efficient until Sarr committed what should have been an intentional foul.

Sounds like excuses to me. JJ never was given a pass when he had to chuck up threes at the end is the shot clock when nobody else could get a shot off. Like I said, he does a lot of good things, but three point shooting is not one of his strengths. He's only a sophomore, so he can still get better. For him to be effective at SU, you better recruit a very good shooting point guard to play along side him.

Agreed, on the point guard, but JJ couldn’t even score over 4 points in a game the last few weeks of the season.

JJ was a lost soul at the end of the season. I’d take Doty any day, but he does have a couple of hiccups in his game.
