Well played.Yeah he's local
Greg Monroe. David Johnson. Didn't Kueth Duany get better? That’s your argument? Greg Monroe got better, too. How about Greg Kohls? And, those are just the Gregs!!!
Did any of our current coaches have any effect on those player's shots?Greg Monroe. David Johnson. Didn't Kueth Duany get better?
I think Raf Addison was a pretty good shooter (not sure about form, but it worked). Just missed 3 pt line or might have ended up with a few hundred more points.
How would I know? I do know that none of them were coaches at the time those players played. Red was a teammate of David Johnson's, so perhaps he had some effect.Did any of our current coaches have any effect on those player's shots?
Red had no effect on Dave Johnson's shot. My point is, citing former Syracuse players who's shots improved under different coaching is irrelevent. How would I know? I live in Chittenango and went to a bunch of his games last year. He was very impressive, very slick, broke down 2 defenders at will whenever he wanted but by no means a ball hog, willing passer and made a point to set up teammates for good shots even if he could have taken it to the hoop för a layup. Smooth shooter, just a natural.Sorry folks, I just don’t see it. Maybe he can come here and add practice depth. Struggling to see this kid as a high major talent.
When White went up for a 3, alot of the time with 2-3 hands in the face I thought it was going in...moreso than any other 3pt shooter în Syracuse history.Uncle Drew would like a word.
John Gillon also.
Wes Johnson says HI!
White has the season record for most made 3’s,
112.
And he hit them at 40.3% clip.
Gillon “only” splashed 54 3’s, but at just shy of 42%.
Wes hit 51, at a 41.5% clip, while being the ultimate Do It All forward for us.
And Cole Swiderman also says - Sup?
81 makes at 41%.

No disrespect to either Money Monroe or Matt Roe, but -
* The 3pt shot was much shorter then.
* And it was new, and an anomaly, so teams didn’t have any strategy to defend specifically against it, being much more focused on guarding the rim.
I mean he is from Chittenango, he cant be that good.If SU is even seriously considering offering this kid they are clueless. Just try to picture him playing against teams like Duke. Save the money for NIL.
Doty can’t play at SU either. They’re both good players but not ACC players unless you’re happy with SU’s current state of affairs.I mean he is from Chittenango, he cant be that good.
Just like that Doty kid from Fulton. Hes from Fulton he cant be worthy of playing at Syracuse.
Until they play against us and make us look silly.
Almost as silly as your post.
Kid is a basketball player and is good enough to play for any team in the country. If we dont seriously recruit this kid? Then we would be clueless.
Gavin Doty averages 9 pts and has a negative DBPM for a 11-13 team in the MAAC.I mean he is from Chittenango, he cant be that good.

A freshman that averages 9 points on 49/36/76 splits for a MAAC team could very well be a good player for us here someday.Gavin Doty averages 9 pts and has a negative DBPM for a 11-13 team in the MAAC.
He's a good story for Siena, but I mean...
This type of thinking is what has allowed us to get to this point.

How does he defend? He is averaging about 15 ppg and 8.5 rebounds over his last 8 games. His role continues to grow and his production is there. And he also shot 50% or better in 7 of those 8 games (40% one game), and 50% or better from 3 as well. The kid can play. We missed on not even considering him.
How does he defend?
What level of competition plays in the maac?
Would you agree by all accounts Carlos was a great defender in the CAA as well?By all accounts he's a relentless defender who is all over the place. He's averaging over 1.5 steals over his last 8 games as well. He's also only turned it over 11 times in those 8 games and is playing about 39 in a game.

Just saying. The MAAC isn’t the ACC.
I hope the kid gets better and better and maybe even comes here, but we’ve had enough of the local charity cases where they are clearly not good enough for this level lately. If he’s ready for this level, great. Being a slightly above average player in the MAAC doesn’t do it for me, needs to be a star at that level
Your buddy...the...NBA scout???? Or your buddy, the volunteer fireman? My buddy says Ryan is leaps and bounds better than Tillery
