Chance Amie Ends up at Grambling

Most of the players who are in the portal we’re dead weight in this program. We get a chance to get better players from the portal to replace them.

Why did we recruit so many dead weight players?

I wouldn't take Amie. It will be the 5th school he's committed to since HS and the 4th that he'll play for. He went to JC and barely got on the field there. He's a head case. Doesn't like classes and is a terrible terrible passer. In the little bit he played in JC, he completed 42%. Nope.

This ship wrecked and Syracuse fortunately wasn’t in tow..

Yeah but besides all that Mrs Lincoln…..

But, but - Dungey once said he thought Amie looked good.
(better than Devito)

… which I thought then, and KNOW now, was said specifically to cheese off Tommy D, and likely for no other reason.

He wasn't wrong.

I don't think so. He could've looked good in practice and still been a head case. There were some in the know posters on here that said he was going to give TD a run for his money. Sounds like a wasted talent to me.

I just watched his film that he presented. He def was going to be better than Devito

The kid just doesn’t have his life together which is unfortunate

His 42% completion percentage at a JC doesn’t bode well for on the field either. He didn’t even start.
Im not surprised but his performance after Cuse has nothing to do with what he was doing here as a freshman. Obviously his off the field issues had caught up with him at that point. He never got back on track. Its just wasted talent. I see talented kids waste their talent everyday because of what they do off the field.
