Have you had some of the specialty Goose Islands? Lolita/Sophie/Jillian/etc.? More saisons and sours. Have you been to Hopleaf?

Goose Island Honker Ale, 321 Wheat Beer, Urban Pale all work for me, but they're much better on tap than in bottles.

I really enjoy sophie. Also have been lucky enough to get the Bourbon County on tap there (tremendous).
Hopleaf is walkable/bikeable from my house so I tend to end up there whenever I have company in town. Never had a person not like. Have you eaten there?
If not, I highly reccomend it, especially if you get a table in the beer garden on a nice day. The Mussels are excellent.

Sophie is fantastic. I have eaten at Hopleaf a few times. One would be hard pressed to find better food at a craft beer bar anywhere. Maybe MeKong in Richmond. Love Hopleaf! Wouldn't mind living in Andersonville either if I ever move to CHI.

Just spent a week in Chicago for work and I feel like the worst Syracuse fan. I'm leaving as the game is starting. I'm glad I'll be home with my family soon but wish I had a few extra hours.

Been living in Chicago for 4+ years and finally made it to the Girl and the Goat last night for my bday. Awesome start to what should be an awesome weekend. Pig cheeks were amazing.

Somebody mentions food porn, then regular porn, and next thing you know, conversation turns to The Girl and the Goat, Off Color, Le Woof, Dino Smores, Hopped Up, and then Fist City. Chicagoland's one wild place.

I was at this show in New Orleans during jazzfest in 2003 (really good year)....mind you this was at about 2:30am when they broke this out...after a long day at the fairgrounds watching the festival, then this 5 hour party I hit up one last show at tipitina's that started at sunrise (galactic was the band).....I lost a year in that one night
