My only complaint with Cole tonight is the time he got a mismatch on a much smaller defender and took that corner three step back. I get shooting over smaller defenders, but no need to be moving away. And I’m sure he wasn’t going to wait for one of our guards to recognize the mismatch and feed him the ball inside. But he battled defensively.

He has been a perfect complementary piece.

He isn’t close to our biggest disappointment.

In the list of disappointing players Cole would not be on my list. He saved multiple possessions in the game due to sloppy play by Buddy and Jimmy. Buddy this year hasn't found a good feel on when to shoot vs pass vs opponents that take away his go to. Jimmy has really tailed off from earlier in the year. Disappointing has been the coaching.

I never expected Jimmy to have a high ceiling and he looks like what we bargained for. Cole doesn’t have to be great but he should be a 16ppg guy without trying. Too many o-fers.

Jimmy was going to be terrible for the most part. Cole has a higher ceiling and should be more consistently good. Can’t airball threes…

If JB is our head coach I’d rather have Swider on the team than Buddy. We aren’t winning chit with Buddy as our best player and if his dad is the coach that’s how it’ll be.

I think a new coach can win right away if the 3 Boeheims leave. I want Swider starting but with a decent backup to play when he is cold. PG and Wing transfer. Would be a good team.

But hey, Benny missed an alley-oop and “screwed up” that inbounds play, so can’t possibly play him.
