Honestly this experiment is not working. Need someone outside the Cuse family to come in and change the culture that has developed.

We lack ability, want to, overall athleticism and TERRIBLE coaching.

Carlos is not a major D1 pg…he’s just not. Good passer and probably a leader, but lacks any ability to defend and can’t score.

Lampkin great passer and distributor but his athleticism is going to be exposed. His lower back injury is limiting him. He can’t defend any big guys.

Not starting Choppa is flat out fireable offense.

Benching Freeman for his bump. Kid showing some fight and obviously knew he messed up. You dont bench the kid.

Chris bell has regressed. Used to be a 3 point specialist and now has zero confidence.

Like honestly we need change.

If you do not give a coach three years you should never hire him. If we keep recruiting well we have a nice future. You bench Donnie to reinforce discipline so you nip in the bud the attitudes like last year.

A third year may kill whats left of this program. To Red’s defense, there was hardly anything left of the program when JB left.

The only question is what does JW do at the end of this year. I’m not so sure Red’s job is saved by his recruiting class if he goes 10-24, which is a real possibility

It's the end of the season, you have Anthony coming in with JJ and Moore here and Red can only choose one, who do you think he picks?

That's why we won't be good.

i think a different coach could get good results with this roster
 
I’ve never been more confident a coach ain’t it for Cuse than I am with Red tbh. Have to keep him around one more with the class coming in though. If he doesn’t make the tourney next year, he’s outta here
 
Whomever the coach is next year, we need to do a whole lot better in the transfer portal.

Yes it would be nice to get some frosh who hopefully stick along for term. But frosh are not changing your program in their first year.

He needs to make it the next 3 years. This is an absolute Louisville like sht show from the past two years.

This!!! Say what you will about high school recruiting but Transfer Portal is so important. The misses on this roster are 21-2022 Texas Tech bad

Practice might of been harder for them their second team is better than our first team

It’s not like he was brought in from another program thinking he needs this much time. He was brought in because he played and dug his feet in and was an asst forever. He was brought in because he could keep the legacy of JB and keep the team together but hopefully bring out the best in the guys. AND HES FLAT OUT FAILED AT THAT.

In terms of recruiting…it’s not like we are bringing in top 10 guys each year. Donnie is our first in a long long time. Choppa is legit scorer. But man I dont think any of the other recruits are worth even keeping at this point that’s on the roster.

Anthony and White for next year are high end players but not the end all be all in terms of game changers.

It’s Syracuse. Name recognition. We bring in a coach that change mentality and culture of this program and get back to being hard nosed, BIG EAST mentality, then recruits will come.

Yep, keeping JB around so long ruined the program. Red is trying to dig us out but the job is too big for him. But, he needs time to learn and grow. First and easy task that even Stevie Wonder x Ray Charles can see is to START MOORE!

This really isn’t true, at least in the same way it would have been 15 years ago.

Plenty of teams have had QUICK turnarounds this year with the portal. The coaching is an ISSUE, we can’t blame JB

I so strongly disagree. He does not have to be here. The class is very good but not elite and that is not good enough to justify wasting another year. And we have no reason to believe that it won't be wasted.
