But instead Slayton took him down like a toddler.God if he broke that run it would be the worst decision in sports history.
I hope he is reaming them for mistakes. Keep them on their toes.In Dino We Trust! Would love to be a fly on the wall in the Cuse locker at halftime.
Here you go.
If Clemson didn’t lose Trevor Lawrence this isn’t a game.
This game is completely swung on an unpredictable injury. Syracuse doesn’t have the speed to play with Clemson.
At first I was kind of happy with that TO but man after seeing Dabo after half, I think he'd livid at Dino right now. Not sure how much that matters but the gloves are coming off in the second half.
What's Dino thinking?
Clemson could have taken a knee and gone to the locker room (SU only had 2 TOs). They chose to try to pass, get a completion or two under their new QB's belt. It almost went comically bad, and the QB managed to flip it for an incompletion, which stopped the clock. Clemson saw enough and wanted to duck out of the half, but why should Syracuse let that happen? With a team reeling from the injury to the QB, the quitting of the previous QB and suddenly down to 3 on the preseason depth chart, why not see what happens? Maybe a frustrated RB tries to hard to break a tackle and fumbles? Maybe a punt return? We already did do something to dispel the home team's assumption of controlling things: we're up two scores and knocked their QB out.
We haven't been good at stopping the run today. Dabo is going to run it down our throats with power football, I hope our D is up for challenge!
I'm drawing a blank - when was the 2nd lost Clemson fumble?
don't be this guy.Yet another emotionally triggered dumb comment
