Etienne is great but when we have 2-3 guys on him he should go down not break free and gain another 3-4 yards. Poor tackling.

Cordy was a big deal when the defense was so so bad. The defense has gotten better and he just looks small and outclassed now. I see him as the benchmark for where the defense was and is now.

It’s weird - I was kind of predicting to myself that Etienne might get hurt. He has been running so hard and with no regard for his body.

Amazing how far this team appears to have fallen in the past 9 months. I know we lost some key guys, but it’s been really disappointing that there’s been basically no bright spots so far.

Was Dungey just the emotional heart of this team and they can’t be good without that type of leader?

Well, safe to say the first quarter of the season is looking like the most epically disappointing you could realistically imagine for this team.

Hopefully we can get a lot better and do well against the rest of the marginal ACC.

But jeez. I think we all thought we’d have a good team this year, and at this point we flat out stink.
